Yes. Silvia Pérez Cruz is astonishing in this performance. During the first lockdown last year, she made some live sessions from her home to support the health workers, and that honestly made me cry, especially when she sang "Alfonsina y el mar". She's clearly by my all time favorite female singers, every styles included, right behind the one I consider the #1 : Julie Christmas. If you want to react to her, I'd suggest something really specific, when she performs live with Cult of Luna : the song is called "The wreck of S.S. needle", but to find the right version, you have to open the video called "Cult of Luna & Julie Christmas - Mariner live at De Kreun", with the timecode 17,25 to have the right song. I know its super specific but hell, it worthes it.

@@MusicReaction listen to this version (the best one): kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHmmcpqAl7eefJo A bit of feedback, so you can understand what is happening after her introduction. This song was written by her father. She used to sing this song with her father on the guitar on this festibal. This time, was first time she sang the song after her father dead. The guitar also played with her father.

oh the story is a poem from the spanish writter Federico Garcia Lorca, one of the greatests, wich adds so much more to this song, it´s not just a love song, it´s poetry. Leonard Cohen actually sings an english version of it: "take this waltz"

One piece of advice, and it will improve your pronunciation: Spanish is read as it is written, so you only have to read what is written. You will find very, very few variants (some accents, some esdrújula, etc.), but it will barely modify its sound. Greetings and good reaction.
