I went kind of off shore in my whaler the other day! We went probably a mile off shore to a little reaserch tower that had no life off of egmont key! It was fun but offshore on the west coast is like you go out 20 miles and are in 25 feet of water and i'm waiting for that next offshore vid, please post it soon!

Bro i love your videos. You've inspired me to get into boating! I want a new boat to not worry about mechanical things but the only new boat i could afford is a 13 boston whaler. I was sad because I thought i wouldn't be able to fish in the sea or take it out in the ocean but I feel more confident watching your video! not that I want to go offshore but atleast bay fishing or something on a 13 boston whaler would be sick!

I’m 55 and had a 13 foot with a 9.9 back when I was 14. I’m torn between rehabbing an old whaler like you did. But I’m old and have a junk shoulder. So I’m m leaning towards an SS 160 with a 75 or 90. But , I’m so attracted to the grassroots approach you took and the way you just poured love and sweat into your little boat. You have my utmost respect. Be safe my friend.

it was not a strawberry grouper at the end. it is called a Graysby grouper. no minimum limit.. just follow grouper rules for numbers

Yea it’s a 40hp but it wasn’t propped right and it wasn’t the right shaft size motor for the boat so that’s why it was all weird

No PFD or motor cut off switch attached to the captain are two mistakes many drowning victims have made . Sad so many boaters out there don't do either . Doing so in a small craft in open ocean is questionable.

1. Many people don’t wear pfds, I don’t as the Chesapeake bay isn’t rough, and 2, that motor is 30+ years old and they never made them with cutoff switches back then
