FYI, we, locals have to show our IC (Identity card) when purchasing the tickets as they need our particulars like name, IC numbers and etc. Food bought at the cafeteria are a bit expensive so we always bring our own food and drinks. The policeman had to release group by group up the escalator because there's a quite small space between the escalator and the exit gate up there. Since we need to scan our code again to exit it will take some time especially if the scanner couldn't read your code on the 1st try. So there you go. If all passengers take the escalator up continuously it will get packed up there and come to halt while people still going up by the escalator. It will cause chaos for sure.

logical explained... 1. " I don't speak English," she said in English! She knows English but chooses not to be interviewed! 2. Even local Malaysians need to provide MYKAD or Identity cards for ticket purchases in train and bus terminals. It is to track whose boarding and also for insurance claim in any misfortune! So register your passport for your own safety and claim! 3. QR codes are used almost in every public transport to track your movements during this endemic movement on your whereabouts. It is a common practice in Malaysia. 4. Staircase only used for a walk down when boarding train. Only Escalators are used on arrivals to control the crowd at the upper-level exit. to keep every one distance and to avoid bottled neck exit in a hurry! Also, they limit the people taking the escalator to avoid escalator breakdown as not only does it need to carry a large crowd a the moment but also their extra heavy luggage like yours! Every mechanical piece of equipment has its loading capacity, isn't it? the lift also stopped to avoid overcrowding! this is a normal practice for safety. 5. The train exit at KL Sentral is parallel to ground level not underground. As the rails tracks are there for more than 100 years! Only these buildings were added 15 /20 years back on top of these rail tracks. hope I have explained some of your illogical ideas! everything has its logical sense and you know it well man! but you only chose to ignore it to get feedback in the comments section! am I right? happy travel!
