Its funny, Mushrooms are known for their visual effects yet the reality is that the visuals are almost an afterthought because its very difficult to explain the change in perception that you feel when using them (also as far as psychedelics go, the visual effects from mushrooms are rather tame compared to some of the others out there). They produce a very profound change in subjectivity that forces you to look at things from alternate points of view. I know many people like to use them for recreation; personally, I really enjoy having the experience in a very chilled out environment, some times just by my self so I can objectively sift through my own emotional and psychological problems. Like all psychedelics, I see them as just a tool that allows me to turn off parts of my subjectivity so that I can better understand a situation.

The amount of psilocybin is different in different strains of shrooms, some may be 1% and some may be 5% so if you had 1 gram of 1% then obviously your experience will be weaker than someone who has 1 gram of 5%.

Highly recommend tripping with same amount of people but in a dark room, chill positive music with comfy couches. This is so that everyone will stay in this some and if it gets too intense for any of you you can always take 5min outside of the room to get your senses back then reenter. They are powerful as hell and would not recommend taking them if you have anxiety or are in a negative frame of mind. Shrooms snowball EVERYTHING whether that be a positive or a negative thing it will amplify and keep going and going. If you're experienced you can usually appreciate the negative ones as well as the positives.

I’ve done shrooms three times before the first time and last time I did them I did 2.5g of shrooms. The first time was funny asf until we tired sleeping them off but that’s where I fucked up and ruin my first time because I was so scared. The 3rd time I’ve done em I did the wrong thing and took em by me self. And they kicked in faster and harder then my first time. Then as soon as they kicked in I got externally paranoid. And the breathing effect barley kicked in and my trip hit hard. I saw these weird visions, and geometric shapes. But then I saw a blue tint in my vision and everything thing seemed more sad and depressing. Then later my friend was letting my hit his dab pen when I started to sober up. Then I remember I couldn’t feel my teeth at all but could hear them grinding in my mouth. So I freaked out more and soaked my teeth in warm water to get my feeling back. But that didn’t work at all. Also I forgot to mention I had these weird body spasms where my entire body would shut down and I would start to see white. Then my body went into shock and my adrenaline was rushing. And after I soaked my teeth in warm water. I felt like I couldn’t breathe and I started to see white and I felt like I was dying fuck that night.
