You should get a mending book to put on your Elytra. Mending repairs any tool that the enchantment is on when you gain XP. You can only get it using enchantment books found in random loot chests, trading with a librarian villager, and by fishing.

WARNING LEWIS: Items with mending will slowly lose durability if you're not getting xp, keep that in mind TIP: You can use the anvil to prepare tools by combining: The elytra with phantom membrane Other tools with another one (for example pickaxe+pickaxe) DON'T use the grindstone or crafting table to repair tools, they remove the enchantments (but the grindstone is useful if you want to turn enchantments you don't want into xp)

Hey Lewis some tips for you are to enchant a handful of fishing rods then you can combine them to gather in a anvil then fish you get all type of good stuff like Other enchanted fishing rods Enchanted books Name tages Saddles The best fishing rod to get and have is one with lure 3 luck of the sea 3 and mending Also trap your villagers in little chamber and you can make them trade pretty good stuff like diamond armor and diamond tools from the tool Smith, weapons smith and amorer. Also have a librarian because he trades emeralds for paper and paper is made from sugar cane so your basically growing emeralds. My final tip is to make a drown farm to do this find a zombie spawner and dig a box around it to were it is floating then add water it the corners and in the middle and put a sign were there feet are(you might have to put a block and a slab)and make sure there heads are in water but there feet are were you can hit in a little room underneath the spawner, trust me you will get lots of xp and good things Pls like so that Lewis can see this took me forever

I found it easier to get with a librarian maxed out. All you need is like half a stack of emeralds to initiallly get it then its like 10-12 emeralds per nametag

idot. Beginners mistake that if you put sand turtles will lay there. Actually they can only lay eggs at their home beach (where you found them). Then you have to protect the eggs from monsters. That's why it is hard to lay turtle eggs
