I live just around the corner from Drayton, and only fished there once, I find it way over fished, and they don’t look after the fish there, so I’ve always refused to fish it again far too easy! I’ve seen chaps just pull the hook out, it’s shame it could be a really good place to fish. 👍

Yeah agree the fish aren’t in the best condition but having spoke to mark and ang they are trying to improve things in the fish care front but guess it’s tricky with so much foot fall.

I've fished it for well over a year the fishing can be good but with all lakes you can blank or not catch much but great for a booster mid year

Live down the road from drayton place is full of numptys, seen a bloke turn up with 2 drums of spode mix 😂😂 would only fish there in the summer for a couple hours after work,fish of the dam wall with a carp controller box of dog biscuits and spod biscuits over the top easily have 15 fish in the 2 hours of being there, mark the bailiff is a nice bloke to talk to just hope your not camara shy when angies about 😂😂

Drayton is an awful place the fish are in poor condition there is rubbish all over the place why anybody would want to fish there is totally beyond me if that isn’t bad enough you keep getting the bailiff filming you .

Why do people wanna fish this place. Battered carp,shit loads of people,not exactly the prettiest of places. Lots of decent runs waters around Northamptonshire with better looking fish. I suppose if you wanna pub chuck a few rods out and catch shit loads of fish without thinking about it, thats your place. Definitely not my cup of tea but each to their own like 😂
