The bust of the priest the girl sees at the entrance/exit to the school is significant because she sees his ghost in the hallway when she looks back after immediately seeing the bust. His ghost is in the hallway, staring at her, as if it recognizes she has the ability to see spirits. You guys also missed Annabelle sitting at the dinner table when the blonde girl hangs up the phone. The Conjuring Universe likes to throw in Easter eggs along with the scares.

It was the worst of the series, added nothing to the series storyline, and La Llorona was ridiculously OP for the sake of making her “scary”, which was done primarily through excessive jump-scares. It was a cash grab in the sense that it made a ton of a money, but was clearly not of the quality of the core series.

It is honestly frightening that the Warren Occult Museum has been permanently closed. The reason why I say this is because the real Ed and Lorraine Warren have both passed away, so now who is going to keep those objects secured? Are they out of the building now? Is someone looking to take them (say, a member of a satanic cult or a troubled youth?) That would be an idea for a future Conjuring movie, though; where all the evil that was once contained in the room is now unleashed upon the world.

Annabelle Comes Home takes place BEFORE The Conjuring and AFTER Annabelle. I should explain there was a lot of confusion on this among some fans...a lot of people think it takes place AFTER The Conjuring because the daughter of Ed and Lorraine, Judy, looks younger in the Conjuring but to be honest that was just a casting error...not much that can be done about that now. People based the timing off Judy's age/ appearance rather than the LOGIC. Annabelle was already locked in the case in the Warren's house in the first Conjuring..so OBVIOUSLY this film MUST take place BEFORE the Conjuring. Yet some how there are still fans out there who think this is incorrect...silly people.
