Barry Gibb does the falsetto for the record track (a landmark find that he had a falsetto).... For the live performances, Barry couldn't do the chest and falsetto both because the "blaming it all" ad libs overlapped, so Maurice did the live shows. Robin can sing falsetto, too-- all three are very versatile vocalists

This was the song that Barry discovered his falsetto. The producer asked if they could do a scream or something at the end of the Song. Barry thought they could. They kept harmonizing higher and higher. They discovered that they could all sing the Falsetto but that Barry could hold it the Longest. Barry sang the Falsetto on the Studio version. Then when it was popular Robin and Maurice wanted their next songs to have Barry do Falsetto again. Barry didn't really want to, but he was talked into it. Fanny Be Tender With My Love was one of the First Songs Barry used the Falsetto more.

Greatest band ever in singing and songwriting. So well constructed songs, noone really compares at all. And yes, all three of them and also their brother Andy had or has in case of Barry, the ability to sing kinda 'normal' chestvoice as well as falsetto. Check'em out with 'Blue Island', live and unplugged on 'MTV Most Wanted', think in 1992.

Barry claims that this was the song he discovered his "high" falsetto. Maurice was busy doing a falsetto run and the producer said he needed a high scream near the end of the song and Barry agreed to give it a try and BINGO a star was born. With him singing they did 6 number one songs in a row.

They all could do falsetto, but Barry was the only one that could sustain it. ( maybe a genetic thing)? On the studio version Barry does the falsetto parts too, but live Mo did them. This was actually the song that Barry found out he could sing in falsetto. Arif Marden ( producer) asked if anyone could scream in tun ( needed some adlibs ), Barry said he would give it a go….and the rest is history. They kept telling him, to do more of that, so he started writing songs with that sound in mind. The twins tried it and could also, but could not sustain it. Little brother Andy ( had a solo career), could also sing in falsetto as well,
