I would like to hear you react to their cover of Ed Sheeran’ “Shape of you”, or for a different style “Scarborough Fair”. They have a huge catalog, including some originals . Yes, this is an stunning version and an absolute homage to Queen and this iconic song. FORESTELLA is a Korean (classical) CROSSOVER vocal group. Each member is individually an outstanding talent with unique voice - together they are an incredible explosion of magic vocals. Due to their varied musical backgrounds and very flexible voices, they are able to adapt perfectly to any genre and style. And that's what they do, and always with incredible success. You should definitely follow up with a reaction to their version of "The Show Must Go On" - Unbelievable - (except from Freddie himself) never heard a better one!!!

Utopia and Kool are original Forestella songs, not covers. Utopia is the second part of a 3 part trilogy. the 3rd part has yet to be released, but the first part is the song Save Our Lives. Utopia has a very "Queen" sound to it. ❤🌲💫

However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (a classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (an ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (a classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (a musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. I think your reaction to hearing this song is exactly how I reacted as well. I may have been a tad more skeptical, but wow did they pull it off! Forestella was created through a survival elimination competition called Phantom Singer, the goal of the show is to form Classical Crossover quartets like Il Divo or Il Volo. The man 2nd from the right is the leader that slowly assembled this team by winning each round of the show. Left to right: Woorim - Classically trained Basso Profundo Hyungho - Rock Countertenor (zero formal training until he joined the group) Mingyu - Leader and Classically trained Leggiero Tenor (he and Woorim went to the same school) Doohoon - Musical Theater Actor, Baritenor It's an eclectic combination but they blend so well and push every boundary they come up against. They refuse to stick to one genre and their songs range from kpop to tangos. Outstanding live performances to check out, Bad Romance, 'Lazenca, Save Us', Legends Never Die, Hijo de la Luna, Time in a Bottle, Ju Suis Malade, Gondre Mandre (Dead Drunk), and Despacito. For an extra treat, check out Kang Hyungho's "Phantom of the Opera" audition (he sings both The Phantom and Christine's parts), or Cho Mingyu's "Balada de la Trompeta". They don't believe in genres and fear no style of song. Outstanding live performances to check out, Lazenca, Save Us (From the Space Rock Opera), Legends Never Die, Hijo de la Luna, Time in a Bottle, Je Suis Malade, Gondre Mandre (Dead Drunk), and Despacito. For an extra treat, check out Kang Hyungho's "Phantom of the Opera" audition (he sings both The Phantom and Christine's parts), or Cho Mingyu's "Balada de la Trompeta", and many other songs they perform individually. They all can sing in multiple languages and I've heard Cho Mingyu sing in up to 12 different languages in 1 of the songs from the movie Frozen.

I can't find the video, so I apologize if the request has already been done. Marc Martel does a near perfect Freddie, not by effort, but because they have a similar vocal anatomy. Please react to his one take of Bohemian Rhapsody. When he auditioned for Brian May and Roger Taylor, they were brought to tears because his voice is so similar. Marc had a touring rock Christian band for more than a decade. Every night he had people saying how much he sounded like Freddie. A Queen fan with musically trained ears like yours could certainly hear the similarities.

Oh you have to absolutely go down their crossover rabbit-hole. 😅I am curious about your reaction to Queen covers they also did: We Are The Champions (2020), We Will Rock You(2019), Show Must Go On(2024)…latter as trio while bass is away completing his mandatory military service. The other 3 have completed their duty. Other genres to try Warriors, Legends Never Die, Shape Of You in 3 languages in the same song, Inner Universe(Ghost in the Shell…Stand Alone Complex.) Hijo De La Luna, Time in a Bottle, Despacito, …just as a taste of a some different genres they’ve excelled in.

Forestella first sang their version of Bohemian Rhapsody in the KBS Immortal Songs which is a kind of remake competition music entertainment show. It made them known to the world, and later they put it in their 2nd album titled Mystique. They had concert tour under the title Mystique. This video was filmed at the Mystique encore concert, the last of the tour. I prefer their Immortal Songs video because we can see their acting in the performance there. Here it's too dark to see it well.. I recommend Forestella Queen's best songs compilation video on KBS Jeonju channel. There are 2 more Queen renditions in addition to the very first performed Bohemian Rhapsody by Forestella.
