That body builder girl, is the great Corey Everson. She was Mrs. Olympia. Also, Van Damn was the villain in No Retreat No Surrender. A fun, cheesy karate flick from the 80's where a kid gets trained by the spirit of Bruce Lee to fight in a karate tournament similar to the movie Karate Kid.

what a character Kara was. Played by former bodybuilding champ Cory Everson. She’s 64 years old and still fiine as hell. Still has them thighs. I complimented her on a fb post and said “those thighs nearly killed JCVD back in Double Impact”…..Corey replied saying “they still could”

This is one of my favorite Van Damme movies growing up! He was inspired by The Count of Monte Cristo and The Corsican Brothers, as those stories involved revenge and redemption. There were talks of a Sequel, which was later cancelled.

If you're going to continue doing Van Damme movies please please please please please do Hard Target. I've seen most if not all of his movies from the 80's and 90's and this one is my favorite. I watch it whenever it comes on TV no matter what point it's at and I've seen over 30 times.

Van Damme is great. Lionheart is a fantastic film. It hits you in the feels by the end. Legionaire is good The Quest is great!!!! Bloodsport and Kickboxer are classics. Street fighter is fun

People don't always give Van Damme credit for acting in movies. He's very good but often gets looked over because of a negative perception of his "limted abilites". JCVD should prove his worth.

100%. Van Damme is a super underrated actor. Part of it is his accent as well. People are ignorant so when they hear an accent they think it means poor acting or that the person isn't intelligent or something.

This was the quickest click in a long time for me! lol. Double Impact was one of those movies as a kid that I remember reenacting and having a replay. In my opinion , Van Damme was on a roll for a little while. Other JCVD movies to check out: Hard Target Cyborg Lionheart Time Cop Death Warrant Keep killing in man!

Van Damme's 3rd film with an American studio. Hard to tell which role he played first, but he really pulled it off as polar opposites (good camera effect). Top notch action. Just incredible. The original songs were by Gen and the song "Feel The Impact" is dope. This was the first of 3 films to which Van Damme played 2 people. The other ones were Maximum Risk (1996) and Replicant (2001). RIP to Geoffrey Lewis (Uncle Frank).

A really good and overlooked Van Damme movie where he also plays 2 roles is called Replicant, he plays both the villain and the good guy in it, I personally think he makes a great villain, you should check that one out sometime

I love this movie. Two other personal favorites of mine that I think you’d enjoy are Lionheart and Cyborg. Both films are very different from each other and are both a great time. Also, a movie with Bolo actually playing one of the good guys is Shootfighter: Fight to the Death. Kind of like Bloodsport with some early Mortal Kombat mixed in. Very good fight scenes. Plus, Bolo is joined by William Zabka (aka Johnny Lawrence) and Martin Kove (aka Kreese). Just make sure to watch the uncut/unrated version. And if you get around to watching Stallone’s Expendables movies, Van Damme plays the main villain in Part 2.

I love how they got creative with the fight scenes in this film with the lighting. When I think about a fight scene that's filmed well I think of Van Damme tapping Bolo on the shoulder and busting him up when he turns around. You also see how this film borrowed from lethal weapon 2..but all the films of that time were borrowing from each other, die hard and lethal weapon, robocop and the terminator etc. They made each film better.

Great reaction. I definitely prefer Van Damme's earlier movies, like this one, to the later ones. He was in his physical prime, and seemed more invested in the characters he was playing. Out of the Van Damme movies you haven't reacted to yet, I'd highly recommend _A.W.O.L.,_ also known as _Lionheart._ The story centres on a street fighting tournament, so there are plenty of fights, and it's also one of the most emotional of Van Damme's movies. It's in my personal top three Van Damme movies, along with _Bloodsport_ and _Kickboxer._

The guy JCVD kicked in his ballet close was Michael Keaton's stunt double for both Batman movies. I use to collect Black Belt magazine along with other martial arts mag's and he was in it showing himself in the suite talking about how he got the stunt job fighting against ex Kickboxing female star and stunt double actress Kathy Long stunt double as Cat woman.

These aren’t Van Damme movies per day but Kickboxer 2 The Road Back and Kickboxer 3 The Art Of War stars Sasha Mitchell and I’d say they’re both just as good as the first movie. Another noticeable mention is The Best Of The Best and Best Of The Best 2 both movies are staples of their time and true nostalgia for anybody who watched them growing up way back when. Highly recommend. 😁👍🏼
