Man, I really wish they didn't tell you that you have to watch the ending, because then you're like actively trying to connect stuff. I remember seeing this when it came out and it was so nuts that the entire cinema was like OMFG. It was so insane! Either way, glad you finally made it to the epic conclusion!

This!!! Every time I see somebody new reacting to this it's always somebody in the comments of 4 saying I can't wait for you to watch the next one you won't believe the ending. People should just let folks be surprised instead of looking for context clues cuz they know something's going to happen

I think it would actually be a very cool concept in a sequel to have everyone believe the person who had the premonitions and authorities try everything in their power to keep the victims alive but it still isn't enough.

I figured it would be a prequel only because of Isaac's phone. I was like wait, cellphones?? In 2011? Hardly. So I knew it was a prequel but where exactly it would play out in the timeline I didn't call. They talk about Paris and the internship so I figured that was simply a nice callback to the 1st movie. But instead of just a callback it's an entire twist. One of the best ones in cinema! (I saw this in cinema with a packed theater and you can only imagine the reaction when Alex showed up onscreen 0_0) BTW: take a better look at the picture of Roy at the end. Look at the car :)

To answer your question, The Mole from Austin Powers 3 was played by Fred Savage. He was mostly known for The Wonder Years. Other films he starred in were Little Monsters and The Wizard. Misconduct allegations were leveled at him while working on The Wonder Years Reboot, to which he was fired from.

I have to agree with you I think 3 was the best of the bunch. I feel like FD3 stands on its own, like if you only watch FD3 and not watch the rest and you can still enjoy it and understand what is going on. It also feels weirdly disconnected from the rest of the movies, but in a good way? I don’t know. It’s definitely interesting.

Loved this movie so much man, grew up watching the series and when this one finally came out on DVD at the video rental store my dad straight up BOUGHT me a whole, brand new copy from the shelf instead of a weekend rental like usual cus he knew how stoked I was on FD (he put me onto it at the ripe old age of 13) Shout out to the FD franchise, this film especially for giving me a crippling lifelong fear of sudden, gruesome death, that gymnastics scene has gotta be the most crazy death in the whole series just because of how creative but simple it is. btw my theory about the visions is its death giving people small mercy in a way, if you're strapped into a plane with someone destined to die then you are gifted a little glimpse of the future to try and preserve your own life, but its a double-edged sword, taking that out means death now has you on his radar, as, in a way, you were also destined to die. The ultimate takeaway/reminder being "make life worth living because it could end at any moment" and its nice in a way, they broke up at the start of the movie and then died with those feelings, death gave them a chance to try again and, at the very least, they were happy together before the end.

18:17 There’s a mistake on her injured eye, it’s the right eye that was lacerated by the laser and not the left eye. But on the picture, it was on the left eye that the glass is broken, so it wasn’t supposed to be the right eye to get injured by the laser. Yeah this kind of mistake in movies happens sometimes.

If you think of the rules of death, by which I mean the kill someone and get their life rule. You can pretty much explain the series in a way that makes sense. The ending is less about them causing the plane to get destroyed and also not about them being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but them dying no matter what. Homeboy got the detectives remaining life, meaning the detective would've died at the same day Flight 180 would've happened. Mollie also died because she was supposed to, though she never cheated death, she was still gonna die shortly after the others died on the bridge. The best way to explain it is how the one dude got crushed by the plane because the worker who he swapped places with would've died just shortly after. It's an extreme coincidence that the plane hit a random bar right? Yeah well it is death tying up all the loose ends. If you are gonna kill a girl someone who would've been a detective and a guy that switched places with a sick guy. Why not use the plane you were gonna use anyway to get them out of the picture. The idea is that these two would've died no matter what, even if they weren't on the plane. And the reason the deaths in the movies are often so elaborate is because it's death having to improvise to kill all of them off. Deaths are otherwise realistic because they are carefully planed to make sense. Like the guy dying because he has that thing in his brain killing him any day now.

The first movie came out in 2000. I saw it the second 2003, third 2006, fourth 2009 and fifth 2011. It spoiled the pattern, but FD5 is miles better than FD4. We normally saw to skip that one it's just so bad. Sorry someone spoiled the ending. I was told the ending by mates friend for Scream 3, when I had already bought the tickets. Classy finish for a unique and enjoyable horror film series.

I do find the end of this one kind of funny, it's like the filmmakers are going "look, it all comes round in a circle, the loop is complete, what a great final film!" But, there is no loop, this is just a prequel. The way they sell it, it does work, feels like a neat little bow on the series - but on reflection, this is just a solo film that ends when the first one starts =P Can't wait for more slightly goofy films, love watching those along with you here =]

I have mixed opinions on this one. On one had it has the most Bludworth scenes and an amazing twist. But on the other hand, most of the kills are so bad. Theyre so comedic and break the laws of physics so such an extent that it almost feels like a parody film mocking the first FD film.
