It was titled "2" because Vernita Green was the second name on her list of "Vipers". O-Ren Ishii was "1".The chronology of sequences in this dilogy will take some figuring out, but it's worth it.

Most Tarantino movies take place in the universes of other movies, so they're not supposed to be realistic usually. Kill Bill takes place in martial arts revenge movies, which have wildly over-the-top fight choreography.

Standing on swords & running on walls is realistic?😅 When I saw both Kill Bills in theaters I didn't like them for the very reason you said. I like realism. But I knew beforehand that it was a homage to the old sensational samurai flicks he/we grew up on. That's where the spraying blood comes from, friend. But after they came out on DVD i watched them again & changed my mind,, realizing Tarantino had done it again. My first Tarantino was Pulp Fiction when it came out & i loved it. Then heard about Resorvoir Dogs being great too, but I didn't like Ketel's character at the ending. He was a seasoned pro & never would've done what he did in real life. Then I caught his next flick "Jackie Brown" starring De Niro & Sam Jackson & liked it even better than PF. After that they were hit & misses for me. But there's a really great comedic masterpiece many overlook called "Four Rooms", each room a different short film by 4 different directors including Tarantino tied together through Tim Roth/Ringo/"Mr.???" as the bellhop in charge of an old Hollywood hotel. You should add to your list if haven't seen. See ya! ✌🌎❤
