The emotions are really well conveyed in this one. Like he's telling a story rather than singing a song. When he says Billie Jean is not my lover, he damn means it. Of course this is probably due to him being emotionally vulnerable at this time and you can see he's channeling his sadness into his performing.

Honestly I see that every time. That's one of the key traits of MJ performances. Not just Billie Jean. Even the earth song live in Munich made me so emotional because he himself was capturing that emotion so well and spreading it through his singing. I love this performance, but it always makes me emotional whenever I watch it because of some of the sad circumstances behind it. Bro, if you noticed or not, Michael had a lot of hair in the 1992 concert (as you seen in Bucharest 1992 concert), which was happened before the allegations and Michael had significantly less hair in this concert compared to in 1992. There's a sad rumor that because of allegation going around this time, Michael felt so stressed that he ripped his own hair off out of frustration. i don't wanna believe it, but Human psychology; when under a very stressful time in their life, people are prone to pull apart their hair. 😔

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but this concert took place right after the 1993 allegations, and if you look closely at Michael's face, you can clearly see the sadness and anger in his eyes.
