Just for information, episode 6 'Run for your wife' was actually written as the second (maybe third) episode but apparently the network or someone didn't like it there so we will randomly skip back to the 'first day of school' for that episode Also the actor who plays Cam is possibly the most different from his character being that he's straight and not nearly so camp in real life. Luke probably comes a close second as the actor who plays him is a member of Mensa and graduated high school at 13

All of the predicting you try will probably never match up with the insanity that was written into this show😂it’s such a classic ❤ Don’t feel bad for Manny😂he takes over and never gets walked on lol. You will end up relating with so many things but Jay has the biggest growth through the whole series !

I’m a big fan of Modern Family. I don’t want to say anything that’ll spoil anything, but I will say that if the second episode of the first season is already tugging at your heart then you’re definitely going to enjoy the rest of this show and probably become a big fan, too. Each time you’d say what you thought was going on with the bike I kept thinking “yep I thought that, too, when I first watched this episode because that’s what other sitcoms trained me to think” and by the end thinking “okay I like how this show isn’t predictable yet is still comforting to watch.” Indeed, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, and Community tend to be tv shows that I put on most often whenever I feel the need to watch something that brings me joy and comfort (those aren’t the only three, but those three are definitely in the top 10 at least of most rewatched shows by me).

Thank you so much for having such a vulnerable and touching moment regarding jay and manny. I went through hortific abuse and then harassment when i split with my sons dad. This man would go to the end of the earth to be toxic about me, truly, it is too much to even mention. BUT. I will never, EVER say a word against him in front of my child. I am always positive about my son going to see him, always make a fuss of all the "amazing" things his father does, always make sure he never gets the impression that his father is quite possibly, the worst human in the world. And it sucks. Its terrifying. But, my son comes first, and it isnt often you see anyone being emotional about the sacrifices a loving parent will make... so thank you. I felt just a little bit seen, and a little bit appreciated. Means a LOT X

Love your reactions. You relate to them all so well. Less pausing is also good. The thing I believe makes Modern Family so good is that all episodes have 3 seperate stories that sometimes combine making it so rewatchable. For instance this episode 'The Bike' You watch it again see the name the bike and remember oh yeah that's the one where Phill tries to teach Luke a leason... then you start watching and it also has the Cam and Mitchel story... and the Jay and Mani story. I enjoyed watching Modern Family when it first aired on TV and I also enjoy watching the reruns, so feel free to continue reacting on KZbin. I don't know if you've seen it, but one show you might enjoy is Parks and Recreation. It's kind of like The Office only based upon small town government in the U.S. It's very funny, especially after season one, but it also has a heart.
