This is my favorite Hitch movie. Yeah, I always liked the Lonely Heart's character too. Yes, they were sleeping outside their apt. because of hot weather. After the dog incident Lars' apartment was dark but you could see the glow of his cigar so he was home. All the actors we watched in the apartments were wearing flesh tone ear pieces so that Hitchcock could direct them on the set via radio. Glad you did this one, keep posting! 👍

Good movie, great reaction. Hitchcock has a lot of great movies. The only thing I'd mention is that the camera shows you from above and most viewers probably want to see your face.

Alfred Hitchcock is the Master of Suspense. There are so many great movies of his to recommend. Try his 1946 Spy/Romance movie, Notorious, just an amazing movie.

Like your reaction. It's sad Grace Kelly went off and married the Prince of Monaco at the top of her career. She could made a lot more pictures. 6:20 The 21 Club was in business about 90 years. It was a speakeasy during Prohibition & went broke thanks to the pandemic shutdown in 2020. 15:39 I think "probable cause" is something like when an police officer hears or sees that a crime is happening in real time or if I were seen running into my house wearing a ski mask and $10000 in wrapped bills drops out of the pillow case under my arm. Another one of my favorite Hitchcock movies to recommend to you is "Shadow Of A Doubt," about a man who's a suspected serial killer as the FBI is closing in on him.

You need to watch without asking questions, then it's a good movies. There's a lot wrong with most American movies. Most US movies are about show, not to keep the believable aspect. That makes so much movies annoying to watch. This old movie "Rear window" is not about show, but about a believable story. Where did it go wrong since then?

I think expectations have changed since then and if they keep on changing and to keep evolving sometimes for the better and to sometimes for the worst but it's all about perspective. For example there was time when it was expected for musicians not to play their songs at a concert but other musicians songs. Somewhere along the way people only wanted to hear songs that musician created. In time we might go back to the first. All this is to say is that expectations change over time.

@@justhowtheyusedtomakethem4732 Never heard about the musicians. Everything changes while I stand still. Aarghh, maybe I'm getting old!
