They're saying in the chorus "run bulletproof run yeah you gotta run". Run BTS > Run Bulletproof. Their Korean name: Bangtan Sonyeondan translates to Bulletproof Boyscouts, they have been running for almost 10 years. This June, it will be their 10th anniversary. They debuted June 13, 2013. They have had lots of backup dancers in their dance practice videos: for Black Swan, Idol, Fire, Not Today, Mic Drop remix full length version by Steve Aoki and many other times (performances/dance practices/concerts). BTS is the best! 💜

"You know how popular they are in Korea?"... Lolz. They are actually MORE "popular" outside South Korea than in. Always have been. Their international fanbase growing so fast and big was the main reason why mainstream music took notice. They've always been incredible music artists not just niche genre artists as most Americans like to class them in order to avoid having to compete with them (they annihilate MOST artists in every avenue of music). Few are on their level even in mainstream level, and so get pushed into boxes that the mainstream industry are comfortable with. Hence the Kpop categories that have sprung up in all music awards. That's not necessarily a bad thing, because it allows the traditional k-pop groups to now be nominated in international awards shows, but putting BTS in those niche categories to avoid dealing with the wrath of entitled and lazy mainstream artists when BTS inevitably sweeps in all main categories (as they did at the American Music Awards 2021, and Billboards for years now), beating all the current faves in music (bieber, T swift, Selena, Drake, Doja cat, Shaun mendes, Ariana grande and more) to the award in Artist of the year, Album of the year, Song of the year, Music video of the year etc... etc..., that those artists are used to (and expecting to) win every time. So the mainstream got scared and closed ranks, nominating BTS for awards at the Grammies and Billboards VmA's etc knowing they wouldn't award them their rightful awards when they beat out every artist they were nominated with in every category (with numbers and receipts). But of course if something is foreign then it's bad, and can't be allowed to take over in the American music industry. They would rather gift awards to unknown or new and untested artists who haven't earned the awards simply because they are American or white, than to award stellar worl-class artists like BTS from another demographic and culture, who actually have the credentials to validate getting these awards at all. Crazy when they have broken 60 year records set by THE BEATLES and MICHAEL JACKSON's most important and record-breaking songs and albums. Something no previous mainstream bands or solo artists have been able to achieve in 60 and 40 years respectively. They have done things most American artists can only dream of doing (other than like Beyonce) and yet still get minimised because they're minorities. Just giving you guys a little piece of info on what BTS have been up against to get where they are. So it's funny to hear ppl kind of write them of as "big in Korea". I'm not hating on you just educating, though. You didn't actually seem to mean it maliciously or condescendingly (unlike some other disrespectful reactors who just react to BTS for views with no actual interest in what they do). For more information or if you're interested in how they have become what they are, you guys should check out the Videos made by ARMIES who have made professional-level info videos like Biographies to introduce new people to BTS, so they can see JUST how much they've been able to do, and understand just how BIG they really are, from a fact-based POV rather than the biased against view most non kpop fans get from American media brushing them with a superficial bubblegum tint that neither represents nor fits BTS nor their vast and varied Discography at all. 💜

BTS are a Korean band, this song is the story of their existence. They have been running from the very beginning. Bulletproof is their name. There is no American version of thus song. It speaks to their tenacity. You may like to listen to some of their raps that was performed at the same concert which was held for free in Busan in October of 2022. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalist and there are none better than these 7 guys. They are the pentacle of the industry. They have all sorts of music to fit every taste. You may like Danger, Not today, or even their cyphers. Mic drop is an answer to all the naysayers when they first debuted and still face so much animosity to this day.

BTS is a very talented band, and they started from scratch and became one of the most famous artists. If you delve into their personalities, you will see that you will love their hard work and even how kind they are, and you will love their songs because they are really purposeful, unlike some artists who only support sex. I just want to add that reactors like these really aggravate me. In my opinion they aren't real. They are just using BTS as clout bait and aren't serious about learning or respecting them as humans, musicians and artists. Your are very thoughtful for providing suggestions of content they should watch if they wanted to get to know BTS. But, I'd rather they don't react to any more of BTS content. Especially, if they're going to continue with the "is there an English Version?" comments. Music is universal. How can they explain they're love and respect for Western Artists who didn't speak Korean like Michael Jackson, Drake, Snoop Dogg, NAS, Jay-Z, Chris Brown and a host of others? Nah it’s not really a remix BUTTTTT when I first heard “run bulletproof run ye you gotta run” that reminded me of snoop dog’s “run mf run..” from vato. Hence, there could be a chance that the chorus could have been inspired by that since they take influence from snoop dog (and ofc many other hip hop artists) but it’s just my observation and assumption haha.
