Can you react to "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron"? It's a story about a beautiful, strong horse with a spirit that can never be broken. I cry every time i watch it. 😭💖🔥
@dlweiss11 ай бұрын
I'm pretty sure Oliver first decided to lie about his family/financial situation in order to make himself seem more "interesting" and "exotic" to Felix - in order to keep his attention and gain more sympathy. And then he lied about his father dying the morning after Felix got annoyed and went out to the pub without Oliver - again, as a way of regaining sympathy and attention. Every lie from Oliver is strategic (if somewhat reckless). Great reaction! :)

the plot of this film appealed to me the more i thought about it. people forget something, Oliver is a liar. he’s the narrator throughout, trying to imply that his intentions were all premeditated and driven by economic resentment, but his goal was Felix. he was driven by his obsession and infatuation with him, lying and setting things up just to avoid his rejection. desperate for that connection with him, and willing to do anything to get it. even searching for that bond in the rest of the family. Felix’s fate was sealed the second he started seeing Oliver for who he really was, he rejected the connection. when Oliver realizes this, and knows there’s no way to come back from it, that’s when he kills him. and i think he immediately regretted it. Saltburn had to become the new goal, the new obsession, something to blur his infatuation over Felix with. though, this is just my take. I love fairly open-ended films that get you thinking like this.

The waves crashing against the shore and the beautiful cliffs in the background create such a captivating view. It's so refreshing to see a place that is still relatively untouched by modern developments. I can only imagine how peaceful and serene it must be to visit this place in person. The video quality is also excellent, making me feel like I'm really there. I'm definitely adding SALTBURN to my list of must-visit places.

That was one of the only trends I actually tried and it does in fact burn you, you can still see the markings from it on the back of my right hand. @andrewwarnock914610 ай бұрын
I think the movie should have ended at the grave , I was really enjoying the movie until the sister died, even there discussion in the bath tub was amazing, but then just her dying started to ruin it for me, it didn't really feel necessary at all and the same with the ending with the Mum, that felt even more unnecessary. I would have preferred it to end at the grave or like a different ending where say he just moves into the house and stays with the family, maybe having a greater relationship with Venetia. The ending we got with him being a mastermind killer ruined it for me as the movie up until then seemed like a funny story of a great friendship, but instead it was potentially a killer mastermind plan to take over the families wealth. Or potentially this mastermind plan started when Felix 'disowned' Ollie for lying to him about his parents and what not, and Felix was kicking Ollie out the next day after the party, that's when Ollie decided to get some sort of 'revenge' of Felix, but regardless of when he came up with the plan to kill them and take their wealth, the ending just makes the whole of the movie until that point less enjoyable for me because everything I thought was funny and just what I though was happening in general, was actually not that. If I was to rewatch the movie again it wouldn't be the same or enjoyable as the first time I watched it as I would feel different knowing what Ollie does, knowing that was all an act. This ending really ruined it for me
