Yes, everything you see and hear with "Killer" has Key's signature stamp on it. From his outfits to the backup dancers looks, to the set design and story concept, as well as the song lyrics, and the whole album -- including the album packaging -- was designed by him. He is involved in the entire creative process when it comes to his solo work and everything you see and hear is what he envisioned for this entire album/repackage concept. Every aspect is all part of his design. Key said his style is more like retro '80s/'90s MTV, so that's the treatment they used to come up with his solo concepts and styles. So far, the retro aesthetic is the look and feel he has had for all of his solo MVs and albums. And he has only dove in deeper with the retro concept after he came back from the military. Since gaining artistic control of his solo releases with his "Bad Love" album, he has been building a whole world based on retro sci-fi TV shows/movies and comics, etc. Therefore, at least his solo storyline could very well be connected between his MVs. Not only do you see a car burning in Minho's "Heartbreak" and "Chase" MVs, but you also see Taemin set a car on fire when it is thought he causes the car to explode in SHINee's "Tell Me What To Do" MV, as well as in Taemin's solo "Press Your Number" and "Advice" MVs. And, although the car technically isn't on fire in Taemin's "Flames of Love" MV, he did get in a car accident, and we are only seeing the car after they have died, so it could have also burned. Plus, I'm not sure, but I think maybe there is a burning car in Taemin's "Famous" MV in the scene where we see the pile of "crash test" dummies burning. Although I'm not sure any of it is really connected, there has been a lot of burning cars in SHINee content. LOL When it comes to Key's solo stuff, you never have to question who was the stylist because I guarantee that it will always be him. He has gained a reputation for his fashion, so he is involved in all aspects of the styling for everything he does these days. He would never just passively stand by and allowed someone else to tell him what to wear. :D And because Key was involved in creating the storyline for his MV, he was also involved in the whole aesthetic, including clothing choices and costume design. When people say, "there is no one or nothing out there like it," they are right. Key is 100% that artist. A legend on par with Taemin's legendary concepts and styles. No wonder they are both members of SHINee. SHINee are always on another level and they are constantly outdoing themselves with every new project. It amazes me after more than 14 years that SHINee can still continue to reinvent the Kpop industry with every new release, whether it's as a group project or one of the member's solos, and yet they do it every time without fail. SHINee are the originators and trendsetters of everything you see Kpop groups doing today. SHINee where designed to be SM Entertainment's experimental boy group, so everything they do is meant to be the first and they are expected to create the trend. With every new song and dance SHINee produces it's expected to be different than the last, so you will never see the exact same style or sound from them in any of their songs or dances. Nothing you hear from them or the members' solos will ever be exactly like anything you have ever seen or heard before, and yet it will be very much "their style." The members of SHINee raise the bar even higher with every performance. And that's what makes them SHINee. :D Key had his solo debut in 2018 and, including all his albums and repackages, this is his 5th solo album. There is a lot more to check out from him. ;) Now you have to check out his dance practice for "Killer." As the title of the song indicates, this choreography is killer and when you see it without any cuts or edits you will die. LOL

For me Gasoline was the best mv of 2022. The whole album is gold. But now I'm OBSESSED with KILLER and EASY. It is impossible to stop listening to these two songs. I have a problem right now lol I am very happy for Key, he deserves to make his dreams and projects come true. A while ago the behind the recording came out, you have to see it!

The 80s was such a great decade musically! Like Tammy said, there's so much variety - I remember flitting between new wave, Brit pop and Whitney Houston lol. 5 secs into Killer and it reminded me of A-Ha's Take On Me. Key took me back to those fun times. When Key was in Youngji's show he mentioned that he and his team thought that they had done everything they ever could think of in Gasoline....but he has shown us (yet again) that there are concepts that he has yet to cover. I never expected him to go for the biker concept but he did! Would really love to see him do kinda like a Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge concept one day 😄 And it looks like our boys are getting their solo stuffs out before Taemin returns - Onew will be releasing his solo album next month (Kai too in fact). Exciting year ahead 🕺

There are three new songs in the album. Easy, which comes after Villain in the repack was first previewed as a VCR during his G.O.A.T. in the Keyland concerts. It's also a sad love song like Killer 😅
