Saw this on Halloween in the theater… it was actually a lot of fun. Easily 40 minutes too long, and no one but the main character can act, but… when he came back with the bleach and the salt, I almost died laughing. Insanely silly, very gross movie. But the story mostly works for me. It helps seeing how much fun the cast and crew had bts. And I really hope it gets Lauren lavera more work, she was great in this.

I saw this in a theatre on Halloween too, but with ZERO CONTEXT 😳 I just wanted to spend Halloween with my friend but she got out of work late and Terrifier 2 was the last movie showing that night. We had never heard of it but we just bought tickets and went in blind…there were like 5 people in our theater but we all had some pretty big reactions to the death scenes, I’m sure it sounded like a packed theater from the hallway 😂

If my sources are correct (aka TikTok) the reason THAT scene, the bedroom one, was just soooo sooo soooooooo horrific, they were filming THAT scene then a lockdown happened and during that lockdown it gave the writers more time to just think of even more disgusting things, so when the lockdown ended and they went back to filming that scene they extended it making it even more gruesome

Honestly I just watched it so I could fully understand this one and to be honest, you hit the nail on the head when you said it reminded you of the 80's. The first one was eerie, this one was a campy gore flick.
