this episode was really interesting. Riley was only interested in tagging his name at first, to make his mark. He didn't really have any interest in drawing pictures until other people started giving him recognition for it, which is what he wanted all along. he has the talent to make something that creates an emotional bond like with grandad, but he didn't know how to channel it other than in his own delinquent self-centered ways. I also thought it was interesting that Riley is the one who ended up learning a lesson at the end of this without intending to, whereas Huey on the other hand dedicated a lot of time to his psychology experiment in hopes of learning something, that only ended up making him sleep deprived and mentally slow.

The reveal of Robert’s wedding picture always gets me

It's been speculated that that's actually Huey & Riley's parents. One sign is that the wife's wedding dress is more of a style from the 90's than if it were Robert & his wife, who would've been married in the 60's or 70's.

This one hits a little close to home. I used to be a good artist as a kid, but i let myself grow out of it. I really should get back into it, but the grind sucks away my motivation. Maybe this October i should participate in Inktober and see if I can get my mojo back 😂 I also swear i experienced what Huey went through, except it was from binging 'Beavis and Butthead' and 'Spongebob Squarepants'! My IQ dropped at least 5 points each day i watched them 😂

That wasn't grandad the picture was Riley and Huey's parents. Grandad looks different to the guy in the picture when he was younger when we see episodes of him when he was younger. The guy was his son getting married.

It probably is, when it shows Robert looking at the mural & the painter says "let's draw someone you love" The frame is more centered on the groom, that might indicate it's Roberts son & his daughter in law in the picture.

The art teacher was definitely based on Bob Ross, some of the things that the teacher had Riley got into were based on crazy rumors and urban legends involving Bob Ross
