Okay, I'll admit it. This movie was great. Way better than I thought it was going to be.

Wow! I'm so glad you liked The Mummy 2017! I was a big fan right from the beginning! I did see that critics and "trolls"/haters were slagging it and it made me mad that they couldn't just let it be what it was/is, which is a fun, adventurous Popcorn-thriller/monster movie. No, it's not perfect, but it is definitely entertaining. For those looking for true, gripping Horror, this is not the movie for that. It is more of an Action vehicle for TC, which caused a lot of the criticism. But I just let it be the fun, creepy flick it is meant to be, one with Horror-elements and a redeeming character ark. Great reaction, Desiree! By the way, if you do decide to watch the 1932 original, with Boris Karloff, get ready for a creepy film with a romantic twist. The Brenden Frasier Mummy had this element too, with a forbidden love-affair that caused the guy to be mummified alive, for his sacrilege. That's the kind of film the 1932 original is too. It's really fun but be prepared for a Black & White, Golden-age of Hollywood kind of film. I hope you watch it! I would love to see that reaction!

I definitely was skeptical going into it just because I love Brendan Fraser so much haha but it was a great movie! And I’m definitely going to watch the original!

@@desireacts_ awesome! I can’t wait to see your reaction! Just be aware, it’s a “slow burn”, so to speak. It’s a creepy, atmospheric vibe, with ancient Egyptian magic and Black arts. This film really took the 1932 audience on a journey to dark, foreign, creepy places! There was a big buzz around this time due to King Tut’s tomb discovery and all the “cursed” deaths that surrounded the discovery.

I saw this at the cinema and apart from a couple of cringy bits I actually really enjoyed it for what it was. It didn't take itself too seriously and the main cast were excellent. As you said this isn't a straight up horror film, but more of an action thriller movie.

Video: “Does Tom Cruise do his own stunts?” Everyone: ????????? 😱😱😱😱😱 did she seriously just ask that question????? YES!!!!!!!!!!! ALL HIS OWN STUNTS!!! FOR REAL!!!

I 100% believe he can do them, I just wasn’t sure if they’d want him to since he’s worth a lot of money lol
@pduidesign

@@desireacts_ he does all his own stunts FOR REAL. What I mean is that if you see him hanging from the side of a building, he really is hanging from the side of a real building. If he is hanging on to a plane in the air: he’s really doing it. If he’s flying a helicopter…real. If he’s in an F18 fighter jet (Too Gun Maverick): real. No green screens. No CGI. His movies are famous for the behind the scenes trailers that come out before the movie showing the real stunts. Crashing his motorcycle? Real. Jumping out an airplane? Real.there’s a reason why people love his movies and it’s because you know he’s really doing the stunt.

This was a great movie in the Mummy genre, it's not ment to replace any of the Brendan Frazier Mummies but add to the Mummy franchise. So for those who want to compare it to the other Mummy movies don't, this movie is its own thing. Relax and enjoy. Also it does pay homage to the other Mummy movies, so that's nice.

If you love Brendan Fraser and movies like the Mummy, you gotta check out Inkheart!!!! A fantasy/action movie like the Mummy starring Brendan Fraser Paul Brittany! An absolute underrated movie like Lady Hawk with Mathew Broderick and Michelle Pfiffer

You skip the reaction of the important moment of this movie wich is the apparition of the golden book of the two first mummy, wich make this mummy movie canon to them

Its sets dagger to open the door way for set to enter a vessal, the idea is not to get stabbed by the dagger

Not a terrible, but not a great movie. You should watch the one from 1999. That, is a classic.

The 1999 version is one of my all time favorite movies. Along with The Mummy 2. I wasn’t really a fan of The Mummy 3 though lol

I had both The Mummy and The Mummy Returns and to be honest I didn't like either - maybe just couldn't get into them at all. This one I mostly liked.

Just an advice for future reactions. Don't talk so much the entire time and try to actually watch the movie. If you have something to share.. then just pause the movie. Don't make guesses and hypothesis in the middle of the scenes and just keep on going. It's very annoying if you just talk the entire movie.

Good advice for someone clearly young and learning to do this. Much nicer than @arcanevi4477 who was snarky and rude.

Hey if you can't say something nice about the reactor, then don't say anything at all. She's young and giving her opinion on the film which is what you chose to watch. Manners cost nothing. She did okay and no one made you watch. Maybe check out @Sniperwoof's comment below and learn how to give constructive criticism that is actually helpful to the lady.
