Coil Heads actually have an agro range so if you manage to get one to a very long hallway you can simply back up out of his range and it will leave you alone. Talking from experience here.

Also, technically your body isn’t worth anything, the slime dissolves your body and only your suit remains. And the empty suit is still worth 5 credits so it’s only the suit that is worth anything Also only very poorly designed/maintained guns can fire while on safe, also you can’t forget strait bad luck. It’s one of the reasons why you always ALWAYS treat guns like they are loaded/have an instant death beam coming out of the barrel

She though it could randomly fire if the safety was off which should absolutely not happen that is a massive recall, lawsuits like crazy failure. Most semi auto handguns don't have a normal flip safety, but they have a drop safety so it never should go off if it falls, a trigger safety that requires the trigger to be pulled a specific way so it's harder to set off by accident etc but yeah basic rules and it's 100% fine.

32:00 in game, yes. IRL, no. IRL the safety preventss you from negligently discharging (accidentally fireing) the firearm (firearm is the technical term for a gun). There are multiple stlyes and amounts of safeties on any one firearm. The most common ones prevent the fireing pin / action from moving, thus preventing you from discharging (fireing) the firearm.

32:00 to answer your question, largely no, a loaded gun typically wont randomly fire simply for having the safety off, but some models have issues, like sensitive triggers or weird firing mechanisms that jostling, like running around with it could set off if the safetys off. But it more represents the fact that handling a gun with the safety off, and your finger on the trigger, is dangerous as fuck, being careless with a gun like that leads to deaths, and lots of them.

There's been some amazing Lethal Company streams in the past few years. I'm surprised it's still sort of popular though. The even shorter explorations of guns used in games (real or fictional) are pretty cool, too, but the meat is in the longer-form videos.
