Hi there! I really love the Wallace & Gromit shorts, especially this one! You should react to the new short which is called "Vengeance Most Fowl" sometime! I also wanted to point out a few things in about some of the music in this special. Some changes were made to a couple of tunes when this short was re-released in 2001 by Warner Bros. 1.) In the original version when Gromit opens his birthday card, the tune was "Happy Birthday". This was changed to "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" to possibly avoid paying licensing fees to Warner Chapel Media in which they claimed they owned the birthday tune back then. 2.) When Gromit struggles to sleep, 2 of the 3 tunes that were played on the radio were changed to generic royalty-free music, which were composed by Julian Knott, to avoid copyright. The two songs in the original version that were replaced were "Happy Talk" from "South Pacific" and "How Much Is That Doggy In the Window" by Patti Page. 3.) Because "How Much Is That Doggie In the Window" playing on the radio was removed, the voice clip of Wallace humming the tune when he walks by Gromit the next morning was also taken out. 4.) The tune that plays on the TV when Gromit is eating his cereal was the theme of "The Open University" from 1971. That tune was replaced in the re-release with a generic royalty-free theme, which was also composed by Julian Knott, to also avoid copyright.

there's actually a PS2 game that's a sequel to this film / shot. Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo where Feathers McGraw kidnaps all the baby animals out of Revenge at the zoo to get Wallace's attention . it's quite a fun platformer if you're into gaming
