Wendy lived in North America ( Toronto and Minnesota ) for nearly all of her teenage years and speaks English fluently. The other girl in the first clip was Seulgi, another member of Red Velvet, who is also a great singer in her own right.

Wendy looks different due to hair and makeup and some weight change, and it’s her when she was like 20 to 28 excluding the Halo one when she’s in highschool. Also in Dec 2019 she did have an accident in rehearsal breaking her pelvis, wrist and jaw. Her jaw was wired shut and they probably did some reconstruction work, ppl make a big deal out of that but honestly the change after is minor(she changes hair to bangs and omg she had plastic surgery 😭) Check out some Red Velvet their group harmonies are amazing. Oh hey you reacted to Wendy's vocals nice! When you asked why she looked different in each clip, Wendy mentioned that she goes on a diet from time to time, so comparing each clip (since these were before 2021) is because she's either going through a diet or is eating well!
