Thanks for your review .will be flying to Bangkok with Saudi myself in few weeks. Will be first time with Saudi airlines Got really good deal but booked a year in advance.

No, it was not needed for me. I was in the country for less that 30 days

thanks for this great review as im thinking of booking this flight to kl.its much cheaper than emirates.600vs 920! i was getting paranoid about having pills in bags etc going through Saudi but i guess they are in my check in luggage.hope you had a good time in thailand i go twice a yr from manchester.

That's funny although I live in Manchester I work for part of the year in the Far East and generally after I'm done I spend some time travelling out there, when I saw your trouble with Covid tests I was.... thats odd I didn't have to bring that when I went and I must have arrived a couple of weeks after you did, so glad I missed out on all that!!!

I flew with them from manchester to Jeddah, then an 8 hour stop over, then onto Manila, didnt know that there were no money changers in jeddah, so hab yo wait all that time till conecting flight to eat something

No, non at all :) but I was warned it’s illegal, however they sell vapes on the street too in some places 😉

Looked at doing same route as you but the layovers were 4 1/2 and 5 hours , that's what put me off . Was the price return looks very cheap ? , Paid £860 on Emirates in 3 weeks .

3-5 hours is still alright. Any longer is what you should be avoiding because in those 3-5 hours is the perfect time to go to the lounge they have to offer for £40-60 per person , buffet including Arabian and Asian cuisines. Free WiFi and basically a place to really chill. Its worth it in my opinion if you’re not regularly travelling through there

Just over £900 for 2 people. Flight was early January. Booked in August 2022 😎

Thanks for sharing, I'll be like you take the Saudi Arabia airline from London Heathrow to Bangkok, this is my very 1st time to take Saudi Arabia airline, Would like to ask you, Saudi Arabia airline economy ticket, how much baggage is free for check-in? I saw you got 2 pieces of baggage in check-in items? Also..... 3 hours waiting for the next transit, all baggage check through? Do we need to apply for any landing Visa for that 3 hours transit? Excellent value,£900 for 2 people, I found £599 one person return ticket
