They need more collection based or single player focused TCG games cuz pvp is overrated in digital card games and needing 2 ex and 2 of everything else just to compete is a chore because packs are all random. At least on Snap when you got 4 keys you are guaranteed that weeks card. Plus the battle system is so simplistic and rng I’m glad it’s the secondary focus and Im not forced to battle.

u need to hit dragonite for 160... starters for 60... and weezing at 110... so the breakpoints are always 10 away for mewtwo... giovanni is not bad...

He obviously doesn't know the importance of support cards and dare I say every card. Saying Dragonite is bad while saying Misty is broken is just stupid to me

Even not being gamebreaking, the Legendary Birds being meta is what makes Pikachu's deck 1 tier above the rest.

@GoOKuSj33 if you don't think misty is much more op and an issue card I'd question how much you've played this format. Cards that might be totally fine in the main TCG could totally break this game imo.

​​​@@purplatypus7405Misty is a high roll card, you could hit 4 heads but you could hit immediately tails as well (which happens a lot). To me Dragonite is way worse of a issue because despite of being random, it always hits, that card should get banned. They just need to make the same rule as in the TCG, who goes first cannot use supporters and attack.

@GoOKuSj33 drsgonite is just a weak card sadly. It's super cool but it's just not good right now. Misty is a high roll card so 50% of the time it does nothing but 50% of the time its the most powerful card in the game and lets you attack turn 1. Not to mention 12%ish of the time you just auto win.

I think Giovanni is included in Mewtwo decks to let Mewtwo pick up KOs against 60 HP mons with the 50 attack, not to boost the 150 attack.

Both, 160 is also a pretty relevant breakpoint. Exeggutor EX, Dragonite, and many other relevant cards have 160.

I have been running a golduck & Articuno deck with one copy of graninja. It has been slapping. I'm so glad this game doesn't require lots of ex.

The 1 froakie is so there is a ratio of 2 articuno and 1 not articuno card. the goal is to start with articuno and misty it, but since we need more cards in a deck than 4, they fill it with trainers, supporters, and the greninja line

@@GoOKuSj33 If you actually break down the numbers on what are the odds of losing to Blizzard turn 1 against a mono Articuno ex deck, it's close to 2%. And that's considering, obviously, that every deck you face is that deck, which is not the case. But somehow, people are trying to convince others that this is some unthinkable, game breaking event that needs to be addressed yesterday. people are absolutely clueless.
