Good Job. I had to remove all the old gas from my tank and put new fuel and tune it up before I got My 72 running somewhat decent. I still have to install a new carburetor I got and put the headers I got but at least I can drive it now

Thank you and your 72 sounds like an awesome project. I did end up pulling the tank, power washing it, CLR and marbles, power wash some more etc... its still getting a bit of flash rust in the fuel lines, that's the reason for the 2 filters honestly hahaha. Thank you for watching!!

Hahaha well, I honestly can't tell the difference. This is an old 80s emission style 305 and it's a turd no matter what. Probably threw my carb out of whack or something lol

That old 150-200hp small block chevy will pull a trailer up a hill on a hot day without detonating 87 octane. Were talking 7.8-8.5:1 compression ratio and some possible compression loss. Please don't waste money on premium fuel. Hit the cheap button my good man 👍🏻
