Lake Amador is one of my favorite foothill lakes. I caught my PB spot there, a 6.2 lb. monster on a 1/2 oz. brown jig with a brown/orange rubber skirt and brown pork trailer. It was quite a battle to land her.

Amador is pretty cool little lake with potential for giants that’s for sure. They have great food as well at the diner

That is a tough lake to fish. Even during the summertime, I couldn't get bit. The water was so low a few months ago, there was no trees or cover on the bank. I need to get FFS!

Amador is a gem spring time giant trout everywhere good bass ,pan fish the best bass fishing is when your not to serious, good things happen,strong shad population
