Hello People
Strap yourself in people, this is my longest edit to date, so settle in. I first started watching Mick on KZbin just over 4 years ago, from the moment I started watching his videos, his genuine personality really appealed to me, he had a great vibe and energy that was just infectious. the next thing that caught my attention was these trails he was showcasing, they really peaked my attention, well fast forward 4+ years, Mick and I have become the closest of mates, he's just like me. I have been wanting to see these trails for myself, and in August this year, I put my bike on the back of my car and made the 8 hr trek up to Rocky.
Fortunately, Mick gratefully opened his door and offered me a place to sleep for a few nights and offered a world class tour around his local trails.
When I say, It was an experience, I can't stress how much it was. He and his family welcomed me with open arms and as you will see, the riding is next level, what a place!

Man that was so good. You somehow managed to get the vibe into this video. It’s a banger. We still missed a few trails that we will get next time but to hear you yelling out and laughing on the ones we did was priceless. As we spoke about mate , I didn’t just want to show you the trails I wanted to create an experience that you will have for ever. The cooking , sights up Mt Archer at night, John Wick and going out to lunch . All that and fitting into a house with special needs kids was seamless . It just worked ! From farking around with your GoPro while filming you to giving you poo about fluffing around getting ready and you giving me confidence to do K9. Thanks so much for making the effort bro to get up here and I’ll treasure the experience for life 🫶 Banjo says to say hi 🤣

@@mickfromrocky i honestly can’t thank you and the family enough mate ( even banjo! Not sure about the other Guinea pig tho🤔) I’m super stoked you enjoyed it. I’m never really happy with my videos, but I’m quite proud of this one…it was a big feat, but for the first time in a long time, I really enjoyed the process from start to finish. You keep saying you wanted to give me an experience to remember, and you succeeded in every possible way. I had no expectations, I was just keen to take it all in. Thanks mate…you’re the real deal, I’ll be forever grateful 👊🏼

Mate as you would know Jules is such a real person and is naturally charged with enthusiasm for MTB. He gets serious and into a zone but he just loves all of it from a view , a feature or a way the trail has been built. He experiences stuff not just does it. I’d love to be like that.

@@malmtb cheers Carl. You are right, every day out on the bike is the life blood of MTB. But experience’s like this don’t come around often. Vibe flows, Stoke is high, nothing forced, all that on top of Mick being an absolute generous human. The trails were next level. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced anything like it before.
