Hi guys, this has been the first update of the S2 tierlist, after a long grind of mostly all specs so far. Now keep mind that THIS IS NOT A FINAL LIST, and it will evolve/update each Sunday. (At least 4 more times before the actual season). Aff lock changes needed is ”vile taint and soul rot” no target cap and 20 second cd. Teir set needs changes, even when its not been restes yet i can already feel that it Will probably be a dps loss looking at what we loose from season 1 set

You are right about warrior, i actually love warrior and i usually main tank warr, but as is, usually when assembling party i do not take warriors, for this stupid reason: Zero utility and most other dps do same or way more damage while bringing lots of utility & survive.

I would put Dev evoker in the bugged section personally. -Tier set is casting 4 shattering stars when combined with Eternity's Span and should be 6. -2pc proc is not granting Essence Burst -seems to randomly grant 1 or 2 stacks of the 4-piece bonus (need to test more).

When discussing Windwalkers you have not mentioned a new ability called Slicing Winds which hits for whopping 800% AP in AoE on a fairly short 30 cd cooldown. It might just compensate for the things they lack in S1

Slicing winds actually makes the mobility crazy good especially when as distance disadvantage and at the same time fun. Doubt that will compensate for the lack of aoe output.

slicing winds is not worth it. Better to allocate most talent in the left part of the tree.

WW has fantastic 5 target, even without cds, but their whole design of being bursty in small target fights always makes them seem better in PTR/low keys, but fail to meet the meta of 2-3 min mega pulls with Breath of Eons/Wings/2 minute cds on 8 target/uncapped classes. They fit a similar role of Ret/Surv/Enha, being melee with good damage pull to pull on 5 targets without the need for major cds, but currently Ret/Enha offer both more output and utility while Ret is tankier. With the current design it seems they'll scale poorer the higher the keys go. They probably need Chi Ji procs to scale their SCK to 8 targets/another way to guarantee a Chi Ji proc instead of playing the slot machine.

Dev was C - B tier at the start of this expansion and now it's the worst spec in M+. The design of both flame shaper and Scale commander are terrible for anything outside PvP or if you want to push past M+10s. With the current PTR changes I don't see their position being any better and if Aug is nerfed then we can expect Evoker to become a dead class. It's already the least played class in the game at only 2.6% of the player base. Most of that held up by Aug being current meta.

I think holy priest deserves to be higher. The raw throughput aswell as GS just makes it feel super safe. I think holy is gonna be SUPER solid this season.

Rogue main for a little over a decade here. There are always bugs. Some are still left over from beta. It's just how we work. they will buff the specs but not fix them. Very tragic but anyway loki meme.

Low DPS outside of cooldowns is a problem with a lot more than just Havoc to be fair. As much as I love playing my Unholy, if the tank is pulling small outside my 1.5 min CD, damage isn’t there. Struggles in some dungeons compared to Ret which is unconditionally powerful.

Resto Shaman main here. The current iteration of M+ DESTROYS our ability to do DPS. It's so annoying, because we are the last healer that need to hard cast most of our damage and now we must heal 99% of the time. TWW feels SO bad as a R Sham main..

​@@TK-is7reIt's not 100% necessary, but you can fasten things a bit in m+ by making things die faster. If the overall dps of the group is 10M, you doing 500k dps is better than doing 0 dps. Ofc if someone dies bc you are doing dps then all your effort is wasted

@@TK-is7re In WoW (and FF14 too), healers need to contribute with damage to end fights faster. It's important in M+ to help with the timer even if it's just 8% of the overall damage, but also as a general rule because fights ending faster means players will take less damage overtime and less risk to end up out of mana on the long run in a prolonged encounter.

So im probably one of the few people who actually think these tier sets actually are kinds fun and interesting based on the whole goblin gambling concept of 11.1 (my only complaint would be for healers). So long as this idea does NOT stick around then I am happy with this design decision. Some of them actually seem kinda fun

Blizzard should just fix tanking in general. They promised less spike dmg on tanks this expansion but theres still so much shit that can 1 shot you.. They either need to do what they promised to do or rework blood. Some simple buffs to blood would mean nothing sadly.

Also who makes tierlists when half the specs are broken/unfinished? This list CURRENTLY is somewhat alright tho, I watched every PTR raidtest streams/videos with dungons as well, Enh is far from broken right now but people coming from S1 will have a "OK ITS BROKEN" mentality for sure and if you still coping about enh broken, watch Zorthas' stream, enh is not on S1 level.

Maybe your brain cells are not enough but If you have listened to a word I said about ele you will understand that currently there is a massive bug of where you have your cooldowns uptime at a 35-40% (from the usual 8-9%) which inflates your damage big time. They have specified that it will get resolved in the next build (AKA in 2-3 days at most).
