Did you know the Michelin ps4 is available is 2 different compounds. The “normal” one and also the oem bmw spec, which is the one that comes from the factory. I’m pretty sure the Bmw spec has a Bmw logo on the sidewall. Also the Bmw spec tyre is stiffer for enchanted responsiveness and feedback but may be very slightly less effective in rain.

Seeing how significantly different lap times and steering feel is between the non * and * P4S the car would probably have been faster on the * Pirellis than on non * P4S... So hope he bought the BMW M spec * P4S’

Excellent video Joe I wish there was someone here in Canada to tweek my M2 suspension but as I understand that benefits right hand drive cars mainly as the original cars designed to be left hand drive so as I watched car mad dad original video these guys essentially set up the cars as if they were left hand drive or something to that affect . Yeah he must've got confused about the weight (mine was 1638kg with full tank) also camber, iirc f series is about the same. -1.8 deg front on the G series isn't enough for track work, shame they didn't make it adjustable.

Any modifications will lead to warranty issues from my experience unless they are performed from the brands counterpart. So much potential to be extracted but we are limited due to warranty.

He’s only put 10mm spacers on and had the alignment set up. I wouldn’t even consider this a “modification”. Spacers aside, it’s merely using the adjustment in the chassis to make the car drive better.

4S's are a much better daily/road tyre, I will use cups on track. Showroom cars are setup safe and for anyone to get in and push on without too much drama, Matt has unlocked more of its potential using the available stick adjustments. It has been transformed now and feels alive.
