You guys have fun together and it is nice to watch. My wife and I are in our 50s and after (mostly) raising our kids we finally have time to do things together (sadly nothing to do with cars haha). Oh, back in the day I used to laugh at Fox Bodies. I drove a 67 Mustang in HS in the 80s and these things looked like something off of Star Trek. Now, one of my favorite cars. Ironically, those Fox Bodies with a 302 could probably smoke my 67.

The fox looks good. I washed my mustang on Sunday. I use meguiars ultimate wash and wax but do not have a power washer so I just do the two bucket hand wash method. I use meguiars all wheel cleaner on the rims.

Hey Brit and cameraman when those Wheels were new they would have had clear coat on them to keep them from oxidizing You can use SOS pads to clean oxidation off or mix jewellers Rouge with mineral spirits let it dissolve for a couple of days then apply it to the rims like wax

Had 1989 LX Hatch 5.0 5spd that I bought new Sept 89......sold it 3 years later and got into Harleys.......I should have never sold it, I love Fox body stangs......need to find another one, un-molested.....hard thing to do now.....1989 was the LAST year in Fox body style that still had tilt wheel, when they put in the airbag steering wheel for the next 4 years until the body style changed, they did not have tilt wheel.........all I am saying is that for me, I need a tilt/adj steering wheel and thus, late model Foxes are limited to up to 1989 for me, if I get another one, yours is real nice though......clean car......I would'nt mind a carb powered 1985 5.0 LX or GT........

When you wash a car first I would stand a little bit back with that power washer just because it's an older vehicle but second after hosing off the car usually I use Royal Purple or Castrol super clean and I put it in a big spray pump but I spray down the rims and tires clean those first allowing them to soak but when washing always start at the highest point which would be the roof Windows Hood trunk down to the sides and then along the bottom of the car because with the soap working the dirt off the car you're also less likely to grab a rock and put a big scratch in the paint. One of my first jobs was working in a detail shop and always read the directions because some waxes want you to go side to side and others in a circular motion. But always use quality car cleaning products and make sure any window cleaner is safe for tinted windows because that's why you see tint turn purple that's becauseof ammonia products

Whew! That bumper is n-a-s-t-y. You should replace it. I've had 4 stock mustangs over the years(86GT, 88LX, 94Cobra, 98GT) so my Terminator is MODIFYED BIGTIME! 621hp to the wheels and I love it! Time to try the wild side. lol

Sorry about the comment but those rims are known for getting dirty and staying dirty because they're like a open pores rim but get a better brush for the rims and you want the bristles to be on the softer side

Start with the wheels first when you clean your car also dont put the power washer so close, test the distance with your hand if it hurts its too close

I would have taken off the license plates so you could spray where they are as well. I would have paid to have had the car pro detailed inside and out. But hey doing it yourself makes for good YT videos. The louvered tail lamp covers are hot sex tubes. One of the best bad ass factory accents ever on any Mustang.

I have have a 88 fox i built wheel covers easy in cheap 2 make pylwood the top then 2 sides wheel/tire cover point is no more harmful sun rays why car sets anyways it got jacked in 2000 cops called said it was in alley on blocks funny part is the meanies left a homepot reciet in bag where thay paid cash bingo camera pay off to recpits on time date and lane cops she manager it pulled up camera to the person truns out hes in there alot thay said hes alwayin in there with a guy buyin lawn care stuff ol guy owned lawcare place and a worker gave his b/c with cell number cops called guy like we need tslk with u alone he say proof guy said he was my worker he gave dudes info on dl of job site cops meet him there lol from paper trail

Also stop showing your license plates because it is so easy to find out where you live also try Goof Off it comes in a yellow can that removes everything it says don't get on paint but I'll use it to remove rubber from burnout I wouldn't use it on the whole car but the lower rocker panels it's okay but I use it on one of my Ram trucks with the chrome rims but try Goof Off
