How are the professors at SJSU for the CD department?

Wherever you go, there will always be those “bad” professors - but with the amount of CS tutoring/support, clubs, and opportunities, I’d say our CS Department is one of the strongest. I’ve had many more good experiences than bad.

Was it hard to get into the CS program? was there a gpa threshold?

I remember there was a threshold that was a combination of your gpa, sat score, and something else - and I actually didn’t meet it but I’m here! So overall I have no idea how competitive it is to get in, but what I know that’s very competitive is getting the CS classes you want, and transferring into CS from another major.
