My arms are longer, but I work from the log lift side right in front of my wedge, so I don't have to keep walking around. I want electric start on my next machine, no matter what brand it is. That is such a nice feature. Single wedge will always make nicer splits with less mess, but if you're making dozens of cord a season, the multiple wedges can pump the stuff out fast for bulk wood. Looks like you're getting a nice system figured out for all the new toys. Merry Christmas brother 🍻🍻

That’s a nice splitter! I have an axis and have found 2 people really improves the efficiency. I don’t have a conveyor, I just stack in totes so that may be different.

Yea most times I split alone but when I do have 2 people it’s much faster

I do 12000 bundles a year I'm looking at vertical splitter using a supersplit right now leaning towards the axis waiting to see brute forces

Nice video Matt! I keep saying it but I really love the control you have over split size and resplitting with the VS, especially when starting out with those big chunks you’re dealing with. Conveyor has to be a game changer too. I wonder how fast you could fill the trailer with both splitters feeding the conveyor.

What made you go with this unit vs an eastenmade axis or another vertical? I ask because I am contemplating stepping up from a menards special to big boy splitter that will be alot easier on my back.

The axis is Awesome too I just don’t think Andrew is going to powder coat it red for me 🤣. I been looking for a vertical splitter and when I heard chris had one in the works I waited and absolutely love how it’s built
