To be able to wander around alone at night WITHOUT the worry of coming across any violent drunks or yobs would be wonderful.. I seldom go out in my old age but here in the UK I always felt as if I was 'lucky' to reach home without any trouble after a night out as a young man. I certainly could not walk around alone at night feeling completely relaxed.

@@peterjol Yeah I get exactly what you're saying. It is very safe here at night, infact it's beautiful how safe it is because every county should be this safe, it's the least we should get, the feeling of feeling safe. I remember when I was 18 back in the UK, I used to work in a bar, and I could afford to get a taxi home when I finished so I used to walk home, which took me around 45mins, and nearly everytime I walked home I got some kind of bother, from people following me, people asking for money, or a couple of times getting jumped. It's completely different here mate

Araf you could easily meet a nice Chinese girl and settle down there in China! I came to Italy as a young girl and it's my home now! ❤Of course I go home to Scotland whenever I can cos a big part of my heart is still there.
