Your new budgie is adorable! PS: at 3:41 Kevin pats your new budgie on the back. A bird's back is a s*xual/vulnerable area, budgies usually only interact with or climb on top of each others backs if it is to breed, so I would advice against petting your new family member on the back unless you want him/her to think your motives are somewhat more significant than you really intend. You'll notice at NO point in time do grown budgies groom each others backsides, they only ever groom each other's heads, that's usually more than welcome since they cannot reach their own heads with their beaks by themselves. That is true. But also the budgie is just a wittle baby so doesn’t have any interest in breeding. I think it’s probably ok to pet a baby bird like that but not an adult.

Call it Skippy! He/she has been skipping everywhere! I notice! Or Skipper! If it is a girl! or Bubbles, Azul, Baby cuz she/he has got really big eyes! I know that when they get older their eyes will get smaller like human eyes, but it looks PERMANENT and like she/he was actually BORN to have baby eyes! So maybe call it Baby, or Pugs ( or Pugsley)! if her/his eyes are like actually big then...yeah that'll be real cute!

it will definitely poop on the floor, but like you could put go in a small room and put a blanket you don’t use often to cover the ground... if that’s not possible you would have to clean every poop you see a poop with a towel/spray/water/napkin/etc. there’s honestly no good answer lol it would be best to start off letting them out in smaller and more manageable areas. a bird’s gonna poop when it needs to..

My budgie is an escape artist, she has learned how to open doors to her cage so if I don’t have the latch on it she will go in and out as she pleases, if I lock it for the night she will start too run around and bang on the cage and toys until she is let out 🤣🥺

Hey guys I've just watched your video where you revealed pearl and you said that she was around 5-6 weeks old at that time. That's impossible. Don't consider this as hate. I love your birds but I think it's more fun when you know exactly how old your bird is and from the way pearl looked in the video I would say she was 4 months old at that time. I have 3 cockatiels and I raised a baby when covid 19 started. So my male was 6 months old when I got him but the breeder told me he was 1 month old. My older female was 4 months old but the breeder also said she was 1 month old. She looked like pearl when I got her(Size, feathers, balance) and then my younger female she was 3 months old(very small, very clumsy and she was doing baby sounds) and the one I raised hatched in front of my eyes. From day one to the age of 2 months and around 5 days (he had an accident and died very sad story as he was a fighter. His parents (my male and older female) rejected him) at the age of 6 weeks he was a mini cockatiel and at the age of 2 months he was still alittle smaller then my youngest female when I got her. Don't believe breeders or pet shops. Compare your bird with other birds and you'll somehow find out their age.

Your new budgie is a girl and might bread with pillow because pillow is a boy and then you get a little baby one also when 2 budgies are breading they need a nest box for the eggs also having more budgies are a lot of responsibility plus you got to make sure that the baby's dont stress out the assaults be a cause that could make the assaults pass away and you will have your assault budgies die btw watch on youtube budgie growth stages and you can find out how long it takes till it's a adault also I have budgies and budgies only live around 8 years I've only had them for 3 months but pillow nay die in a few years :(

She is such a baby! She is so off balance lol 😆 my budgie is just like her! I call her my little conure she loves to hang upside down. Also i would suggest stopping the budgies on the tv, she can get very obsessive and get very confused, it is just not good for birds.
