Congrats on your first year I have my CCNA but how do I get a network engineer position? Do I need to build a home lab or go for my CCNP?

I would just lab it up with Cisco Packet Tracer. The CCNP probably won’t serve you too well without real world experience. You can possibly looked into CML I believe for some better lab experience. There are also NOC Analyst and Network Analyst roles out there too if you’re interested.
