As someone who got a first year teaching job, a week into the new year, only a day after I interviewed for the job… 😅 I needed this advice so much. I feel so bad for the students that I’m not as prepared as I should be so thank you for reminding me that there’s still time to get things situated.

My best advice is to not spend $1200 to decorate your room like I did. 😂
