First year with my white German Shepherd

White German shepherds are magical naughty little babies. They're just filled with energy and a love for people and life. Bella makes me miss my Winston, who was a white German Shepherd I had a long time ago. I still think about him, and bella reminds me of him.

Just acquired a white GSD a month ago, just shy of her first birthday. Bella and her could be sisters, both in their looks and antics. I'm 62, had a few GSDs in my lifetime, but this white girl is prolly the best dog I've ever shared breath with.

I have the same experience, my white GSD lived nearly 13 years. Probably the best GSD of all. Mine was a female too, same mild temperament. In the winter time when it got cold, her coat would thicken like a wolf or bear almost. Then during late spring she would shed. The other GSDs of mine didn't do that. She had more survival intelligence.

Thank you for sharing this with us! My beautiful white GSD passed away a few months ago. Her name was Stella & she was the sweetest, goofiest & most patient girl ever (& she also thought snow was the BEST THING EVER!) I miss her every day & watching your video was almost like having her back for a moment. Thank you for that.

Great Video! In my experience in owning German Shepherds, my White German Shepherd has a "Goofier" personality then "my past" beloved black and tans. His whole family adores him! Each one has their own personality. I can't say enough about the greatness of this breed and how important knowing your dog's breeding history is. Thanks for posting!

I had a white GS last year that got run over at 5 months old. I hadn't trained him yet to stay away from the highway yet, and he ran out onto the highway when I wasn't looking. He was super intelligent and learned at a really fast pace. I taught him to bite on command at 3 months old. He was so eager to learn and do new things with me. I have some video of him on my channel. And seeing your fine dog made me almost want another one!!. I know have a Calupoh. Who is nothing like any dog I ever had. He is all wolf in personality and temperament but he looks more like a dog. I have video of him too on my channel. I will post some more videos of Icebear! My favorite dog of all !!!

We got our boy at 6 months old from a Mennonite family. He adapted really well, but are still having house training issues. He gets worked up with our granddaughter every morning and either poops or pees in the house. It’s very frustrating, since I don’t want to limit their interaction, but I also don’t want to clean up the messes. Suggestions??

It's harder to train older pups but with dedication it is very possible. Bella is very well behaved and I credit her training success mostly to the great videos I've watched from McCann dog training. One of the best dog training resources on the internet in my opinion. kzbin.info

Ziva was never a puppy although I have had her since she was 12 weeks. But Zeal, I have had her since she was 10 weeks. Although Ziva and Zeal are sisters, Zeal and Bella act more alike. 💯 puppy. 😂
