This is my first ever comment on a KZbin channel. 😊 This incident happened when I was around 7 or 8 years old. We were in the airport with our parents to see off our uncle. My brother has just started to read English words during that time. He saw one sign board and read out loudly " അരിവാൾ"(ARRIVAL). People who were standing beside us started laughing and we were like so embarrassed. 🙈 Congrats on your 250k milestone ❤❤

It happened in a Sunday worship at church... Both my sons were sitting together, I was sitting nearby. First I found my second son sleeping while praise and worship was going on, my shaking woke him up.... After which I continued with my worshipping... Few seconds later I found my second son disturbing my elder one.... I moved forward and gave my second one a nice pinch. He didn't even make a sound, no one noticed because everyone was indulged in worship... Just after the pinch he kept his eyes closed and started clapping his hands very fast just like the rest of us... After the praise and worship ended our Pastor stood up and started ''we all were in worship, in between I just opened my eyes and looked around, you had to see our little boy here with his eyes closed forgetting his surroundings, clapping his hands and worshipping ... My dear church members how many years has it been? ... Are you able to worship forgetting your surroundings? Look at that small child, learn something from him'' these were the pastor's words... I sat there dumbfounded... I looked at my son who was enjoying all the attention and appreciation he was getting... He even made faces to me saying ''See, listen to what pastor uncle is telling'' Later on when we got into our car to leave for home, I asked him ''Da, didnt i pinch you for disturbing your brother.'' His reply ''Yes mumma, it was so painful, I couldn't rub so I clapped my hands real hard to reduce the pain'' which turned out to be a sincere act for our pastor...

So, this was during the days when I was a novice driver and I had taken my mum for a drive. We were on the highway when suddenly a traffic police pulled up besides me and asked me to roll down the windows. Me and my mum got scared as it was my first encounter with a traffic police. Now, before he could say anything my mum pulled out a hundred rupee note and handed it over to the officer. He took it without hesitation and said next time watch the signal. I was just sort of taking things in when my mom drops a bomb. She tells the officer - " Can you give us 50 back? Actually I didn't have change so I gave hundred." Till date I don't remember how the officer reacted to that.

The funniest incident I remember is from when I was 7-8, my younger sister was like 3. In Hindi ‘suno’ means listen. So my mother used to call my father by saying ‘suno’. So once someone asked my sister “what is your father’s name?” and she replied by saying ‘suno’. We all started laughing! 😂.

So, I was an entrepreneur from the age of 4-6, mainly managing homely facial salons and general watch stores and my business went really well. My two main customers would come in when the store opens at 2pm; only on summer vacations though. They would each come into my general watch store and look at the watches displayed and try to be the best customer. They would often just look at them and smile or sometimes take them all away and trade me a "science" textbook. Then late in the evening, the salon opens. This one has the most profits as my main customers would fight to get in the line first. It had a high-class massage treatment and facials using fair and lovely and the prices were fair too, RP.10/- customer. So, you might not have guessed this, but the two customers were my grandparents. I was raised by my grandparents until I was 13 years old. Looking back, I feel a bit bad for the mischiefs I’ve caused to them but glad that they turned into memories.

When I was a kid, we had a househelp with whom my parents left me and she used to watch serials all day. One sunday at the church, a new priest had come and they took me along to meet him after the service. Achen asked me to sing a song for him, I politely said no. But he insisted and I sang Om Nama Shivaaayya...(from one of the serials) out really loud! Got some heads turning!😂

How our skateboard got the name Vaazhakka (For those who do not know malayalam, vaazhakka means raw banana and is also a word sometimes used to express anger especially by my great grand father.) We had just moved back to Calicut from the USA and our mom had bought a skateboard for us. We kids were used to playing with it and would leave it lying around the house. Our grandmother would always tell us to keep it away as someone would trip on it but we would never listen to her. One day, to her bad luck, our grandmother herself tripped on it and fell. As she stood up, rubbing her behind, she said : ee vaazhakka aara ivide kondu vechathu! ( English translation: who put this vaazhakka over here!) Her friends teased her saying that she was trying to ride it. Anyway, we used to refer to our skateboard as vaazhakka from that day onwards.

My ammamma (grandmother)has a habit of keeping all important papers in her bible. But we didn't knew this until my brother's ' young funny faced no cloth photo' fell down during a Bible reading in our prayer session. He was sitting right there, middle of everyone in his 'trending fashion clothes'. Appa commented "we use to keep peacock feathers in books in a belief that it will grow. My second daughter now aged 15 used to be extremely engaging as a child. She was treated like a little princess especially by her dad and elder sister. One of her favourite snack / food used to be good old maggie. She must have been around 3 or 4 when we introduced maggie to her. It was a treat because I would give her once in 10 days. On one of those maggie treat days, my girl suddenly started wailing while she ate maggie. Shocked at her reaction, we ran to her to pacify her and ask her why on earth was she howling like this... Between tears rolling down her cheeks and spoonfuls of maggie she asks me , "Amma... why is my maggie becoming less when I am eating?"😁😁😁😘😘 All of us just looked at her and started laughing. No matter how much we explained that since she was eating, the maggie would become less, she simply refused to understand. Her shock at seeing the continuous reduction of maggie in her plate while she ate, was too much for her to fathom the concept. It is now a favourite family anecdote....😂

I was a hardcore lalettan fan since my preschool education...i used to write my name with lalettans name everywhere i sit with a pencil or a pen..so when i was in 2 nd stnd, crazily i made a wedding card invitation writing my name weds lalettan's by looking into one other invitation card that caught my eyes...i wrote everthing as same as how the other contents on a wedding card will look like except for parents name..even i had choosen a date and place of venue which i dont remember now🤭...it was during night that i showed it to my parents and invited them and my grandparents for my planned fairy tale wedding....they got awstruck at the moment which later turned to a laughter that hurted our tummies!!😆...

I being a KVian will come back home by 1 PM and my mom being a teacher will be back home only by 5pm . Since I was alone in home I use to watch all the malayalam serials from 3pm to 5pm in dooradarshan . In my 3rd standard I got a qus that Name 3 cereals. I being a last bencher from lkg wrote 3 serials that is angadipatt , alakal and jwalaye . Teacher said he will give the answer sheet only if I bring my mother to school . My best memory with my daughters is.. They got each a ten rupee note. We told them to keep in front of God and pray.! So God will bless and double the money.. Both did so closed their eyes and prayed .. one opened the eyes earlier and happily walked away jumping with joy.. Ek ka do ho gaya( money doubled).. Other cried a few minutes later.. It happened when I was a toddler, once some guests had come for dinner and my parents had prepared my favourite dishes that day. The dishes had turned out so delicious that the guests asked for second and third helpings and when I followed my mother to the kitchen I heard her tell didi to take me to my room and feed me dal and rice, I got upset and asked why couldn’t I have paneer and pakoras? My mother then told me that I’ll get it for breakfast tomorrow as those dishes weren’t left anymore. I started crying and ran to the dining room yelling at the guests that they ate all my food and now I’ll have to eat dal and rice…. It was very embarrassing for my parents but now after 14 years they laugh while recalling this incident.

So when I was studying in 1st grade ,my grandmother used to comb my hair to remove lice nd nits nd she'll burn it along with the newspaper ,one day aksa was alone in her house , guess what she thought it'll be a great idea to remove lice frm her hair by herown,took her tools nd started combing into the burning candle, on that day she understood that a little fire can set a room on fire , aksa tried to stop fire by pouring cups of water but the smoke was un controllable , naatukar came ,naattacase ,till to this date I remember those golden days 🔥,when I feel sad I remember this so I can feel more sad😭😭 but for my family it was a funny thing to remember nd also ( naatukar)

When my kids were 4 and 5 year old.. one day I was getting them ready for school .. my elder daughter had to go little early so after doing all preliminary things for both I started plaiting my elder daughter's hair n I sent her through bus then wen I was searching for my younger daughter as her bus already started honking, I couldn't find her.. Me and my parents were travelling to Tirupati. We were at the railway station and I got the nature's call. So It was kind of first time I went to the station bathroom alone or else I would be always accompanied by my father. As I got to washroom a man stops me and tells me to WAIT! I asked him why and he said I should pay before I use the washroom. I was surprised. I said WHY? Why should I pay for something which is going away from me LOL😂. We had a great fight and I argued with my little voice. My father rushed and interrupted the talk. And we moved on. I asked my father then" IS THIS SERIOUS FATHER? FOR DRINIKING WATER WE SHOULD PAY MONEY AND WHILE LETTING IT OUT ALSO WE SHOULD PAY MONEY?? You may not find it funnier but my father still recalls this moment! My funny incident is that It was actually FATHER's DAY and we went to the lake side to have a small picnic . There were several other families too , and I saw kids giving their father's hand written cards and small gifts to their father . And I didn't know it was father's day , and didn't have any gift to give him 😸. And I saw my dad standing by the lake and went near him , I screamed Happy Father's Day at him and pushed him into the lake 😹. Everyone started laughing 😁 Not a great gift to give someone 😸

When I was about 3 years old, I had my Vidyarambham. I was sitting on my father's lap. Achan was holding my fingers and writing letters on the rice grains which was kept on a brass plate. He said ഓം ഹരിഃ ശ്രീ( om hari sri ) and asked me to repeat it .... and i said, ഓം ഹരിഃ ഹ്രീം കുട്ടിച്ചാത്താ (Om hari hreem kuttichatha)😂😂😂..... Everyone including my parents started laughing. I did not understand the reason for their reaction because I was small . Few people know this funny incident and they remind me about it every time I meet them 😪.. Now ,when i see a child having his/her vidyarambham , i remember mine and laugh.

My daughter when she was two years old was interested in helping me with things in the kitchen. It used to be just me and my daughter at home. One fine day when I went for a bath leaving the television on, all I could see when I returned was she was not in the living room. I could hear her laughter from the kitchen. All I could see was a mess with many items spilled on the floor. She had opened the atta powder and was mixing it with water from her water bottle.I didn’t know if I wanted to laugh or cry. It took me a while to clean up the whole mess and it was an unforgettable moment

My brother is autistic. As a baby he used to wander around the house breaking things( when he was about 2 years old). I was only 10 months then. I used to follow him wherever he went( by crawling) and used to watch him. If he did some mischief, I used to crawl back to my mom and see her and then she would go and see him( As told by my mom). My mom now also says this frequently and we all laugh at the fact that I was born to be very protective of him. Me and my brother are always so close. He always shares his joys and sorrows with me.

This happened when I was 6 years old, I went to see a doctor along with my mom, he prescribed medicines and told my mom to buy it from nearby medical store. We brought it and it was written on it's cover " 2 thulli veetham vellathil ozhich kudikkuka"( dip 2drops in water and drink),but instead of 'kudikkuka', I read it as'kulikukka'(bath) 😂 and I took a bucket of water and pour 2 drops in it and started bathing , after that my mom asked me whether I had taken medicines and I told mom that ,yeahh!! I had done what exactly doc said.😂.Later on, my mom explained what it actually reads and it went to a joke 😂😂😂

Most of us know....those crazily hurried last moments of shopping..when one is flying back to KERALA from DUBAI...!!!!!! It was one such days..in LULU...when we were hurriedly shopping..with my parents who were on visit & were returning to KERALA that day.....! We were literally running after winding up shopping...to reach our car in the parking...I walked faster & started my Hyundai Car...& to my surprise suddenly I COULDN'T FIND MY PARENTS who were just behind me a while ago... 😳😳 I now panicked & looked around & got A SHOCK OF MY LIFE..when I saw my parents swiftly coming out from ANOTHER HYUNDAI CAR...!!!!! The memory I am gonna share is about my little brother and grandmother. It happened around 30 years back and we had this ice cream wala who comes everyday and my little brother would ask money to buy ice cream. The excuse my grand mother would tell him is that she has no change. And one fine day same as usual the ice cream wala came and my brother took a 100 rupee note ran to buy it. He was just 5 years old I guess. Grand mother ran behind him yelling "you took my whole 100 Rs note. Give it back". And my brother was like " Nooo. I didn't take the whole note. I only took a piece of it. So it's change (ചില്ലറ)". As both my brother and grand mother are not with us now, these memories makes me both laugh and cry at the same time. His name Ramshid and grand mother's name Maryam.

This story takes place when my mother ,sister and I went to the supermarket in 1999.i was very young then so i was sitting in my mothers arm. When we bought everything and reached the billing section.suddenly my mother said God where is my child .she started crying "ente kuttye kaananila"🥲 Everyone who was there had begun a search for the child in and out of the supermarket.At the end a sister from billing section asked my mom. " How many children did you bring". My mother said 2. When I was small kid, I wanted to surprise my parents by participating in essay writing competition in school. I didn't know the rules nor was I prepared too. They say your worst memories are sometimes the funniest ones. Here's mine : 2 years back I was going to my tuition class at a friend's house. My dad was accompanying me. It was monsoon and this friend's house was surrounded by drains which would fill up with cow dung , rain water and God knows what other gross stuff during this time. It was dark and my dad was a few feet behind me. In front of their gate, across the dung-filled gutter, was a stone slab to help one cross through. That day the drains had filled up exactly to the brim and were at level with the slab of stone. In the darkness, 16 year old me could not differentiate between the muck and solid stone and i confidently stepped into the drain. I was stuck waist down in cow dung and i remained in it for a minute or so until my dad managed to pull me out. I had to take a shower at the friend's house and all my clothes,shoes and books were covered in animal poop. But me and my family have a good laygh about it now !!

Hey this is my story. Hope you enjoy reading it. When I was 20ish, I dragged my parents to a Yoga training centre. The session concluded with shavasan, which means, relaxation in the supine position. To my surprise, when I was done with my share of relaxation, I woke up to find that everybody had woken up a while ago, including my parents, and we're ready to leave the place. It was more embarassing to hear from my parents that I snored like a bear during those ten minutes of my shavasan. Recollection of this incident brings an awkward smile to my face even to this day!!! I wanted to share a incident that had happened which I have heard from my parents about my brother. Those days back in Kerala we used to have VCR in which we used to insert cassettes and will either watch movies or listen to music like how we later had video player or music player. One fine day when they were planning to watch a movie my grandfather was trying to push the cassette into VCR but he was unable to do it. So he thought there would be some problem with it so he took it for repairing and when the technician had opened the VCR to repair he found mango seeds & stones inside later they all realized it was my brother who made the VCR as his storage box to store all his things.. it's fun to talk about such incidents and laugh after many years when your kids are in that same age😂😂

I was telling my parents about a guy whom I fell in love and wanted to get married. The guy was then working in JP Morgan ( US based Multi National Bank), when I told my Dad this he was bit disappointed and he was looking sad. At first I didn't understand why he is sad after hearing the company name. So I asked if everything is alright. He told why you getting married to someone working in JP MURUGAN (he thought it to be a local Chennai shop). My Dad likes Idlis from Murugan Idli Chennai a lot and He heard Morgan as Murugan 😂. My funniest memory ever is when we are travelling by a van on a vacation, my family turned out to me and started kidding me so badly. I was almost cried by then our destination arrived. I was the first to take my bagpack and tried to get out of the van, when one of my cousins shouted, " close your zip, idiot". I thought it was a joke. I looked down slowly and turned to her and said, " This pant have no zip". Everybody laughed loud and then I recognised my bag was wide open...🤣

This happened very recently when my mom kept the mama earth shampoo on table where all the face creams are kept, my dad without checking properly assumed it to be a moisturizing cream as the package is mostly same and once he applied he came running to me and asked why is this cream so sticky and when I saw the shampoo on his face I couldn't control my laugh. I was a very naughty kid and was equally possessive about the things that belonged to me or my family members. One fine day, while I was standing outside the house, a cow walked by and started chewing on our broom. The over-possessive tiny me couldn't handle it any longer. I ran to hold on to the broom and snatch it from the cow. Soon, it was a tug of war between both of us. A while later, my parents and uncle who were returning after visiting a friend nearby were shocked to see a sight - their 5year old daughter flying around but still holding on to the broom stuck in the cow's mouth 😁.

This is a story I got to know from my dad very recently. When I was about the age of 2 or 3 every time my mom n dad used to take me to a church. It was necessary for me to go to the washroom. Not to pee but for potty. This happened every single time and my dad was literally fed-up. He makes fun of me even now saying that I haven't left any church in our locality where I haven't done it. So she started to sew all the torn parts.. The funniest memorable incident I had with my parents was when I was a kid. I was fond of ice creams and used to hate sharing them with anyone. Once my dad bought the ice cream at night, everyone at home thought to have it the following day, and everyone went to sleep. Late night I went to the kitchen and was having ice cream sitting on the slab, and suddenly by mistake, my hand hit a plate, and it fell. My dad was sleeping in the bedroom adjacent to the kitchen. He thought a thief had come to the house, so he got scared to go out of the bedroom. Thinking the thief might be carrying a knife or gun with him. He started throwing things (pen, books)from the bedroom. He felt by hearing this noise, the thief will run away. After some time, my mom told papa to move out and let her open the room and see. When they both came out, they saw it was me in the kitchen having ice cream. They scolded me and went off to sleep. 😆 😆 Still, when I think of that incident, I laugh hard😁😛

i have 5 siblings .many yrs ago during my childhood the petty cooking was full of argument ..'aaru cheyyanam ennu' .my father found out a solution to put lotts and find. and i would be the one always to get selected . ! i would make servings like lemonade ,tea ,black tea..etc but that was very suspicious ! isnt it ? oneday i opened the papers without anyone noticing and to my surprise all 6 papers had only my name !my bros sis were making me do the work with my father's idea .i was to prepare lemonade . i took lemon juicestrained out seeds,then a tray, 7 glass of water with lemon seeds in it as lemonade for everyone .an eye for an eye .we all had a good laugh and its one of my sweetest memory happened about long 20 years ago !!!

Lost and found. This happened like 4-5 yrs ago. me and my parents and one cousin went to banglore wonderla.so if you guys don't know this place , it will have like a well in the end of the pool where it will be 5 ft . Those days when I realised my energy level 😂- My mom works as a teacher,she leaves home by 9am,and tells me to do some household chores before she comes home in evening,but never compells me to do it.But I won't do anything untill 1 hr before she arrives.All day I just binge watch series,movies, sleeping , eating so and so..That crucial one hour is the time where I do all chores like vessel washing , cleaning, sweeping etc...And when she returns home after a tiring day,she doubtfully asks me, Do I have to clean home? .when I reply No maa,I have done everything.i can see her wholeheartedly smiling (So she can rest for sometime).That was my favourite memory with my mom ❤️❤️.

About 2 years ago, I was at the terrace of my home (a three storey building), my mother called me very loudly. Hearing her voice, it felt like something serious had happened. This incident happened in Bahrain when I was in 3rd grade, while the entire family was supposedly fast asleep. Hearing footsteps at night, my mom woke up my dad and needless to say, both of them were scared, sure that someone broke into the flat. My parents were quite unsure of what to do, even considered calling the cops! As there were more distinct sounds, my parents quickly got hold of a "chool" (broom) lying in the room all ready to fight the thief. My mom even started worrying about her jewelerry! Suddenly the steps were fast approaching and the door flung open! My parents were shocked and relieved to see that it was just me who went to use the washroom at an utmost urgency which made me run to the washroom! In the chaos, my parents apparently forgot to check if any of their kids disappeared. My elder sister still managed to sleep through the entire nightmare undisturbed by the thief who just wanted to pee ;) We still talk about this incident and have a hearty laugh!

This happened wen myself n my brother were too small… my parents were too strict then n both were serving The Indian Army… we were asked to read yaseen 3 times everyday in the evening… one of my parents used to b home wen we recite… earlier we used to sincerely do it… but then one day we just skipped 5 pages n our parents didn’t notice that at all… haha then we started doing that every time by giving a signal either by scratching our nose or by coughing 😜😜….
