This was played at my mum's funeral by my niece with a montage of pictures with her memories of her grandmother. Mum's life had much faith and many moments of happiness and blessings but also darkness of family, things out of her control and not great health. Her faith gave her a silver lining that passed onto me and many who loved her. Just want to say thankyou to this beautiful song introduced to us in Australia in 2014 at my mother's funeral. Still find strength in it today. June 2024.🙏😊❤️

Lyrics: I don't want to wait anymore I'm tired of looking for answers Take me some place where there's Music and there's laughter I don't know if I'm scared of dying But I'm scared of living too fast, too slow Regret, remorse, hold on Oh no I've got to go There's no starting over No new beginnings, time races on And you've just gotta keep on keeping on Gotta keep on going, looking straight out on the road Can't worry 'bout what's behind you Or what's coming for you, further up the road I try not to hold on to what is gone I try to do right what is wrong I try to keep on keeping on Yeah I just keep on keeping on I hear a voice calling Calling out for me These shackles I've made in an attempt to be free Be it for reason, be it for love I won't take the easy road I've woken up in a hotel room My worries as big as the moon Having no idea who or what or where I am Something good comes with the bad A song's never just sad There's hope, there's a silver lining Show me my silver lining Show me my silver lining I hear a voice calling Calling out for me These shackles I've made in an attempt to be free Be it for reason, be it for love I won't take the easy road I won't take the easy road The easy road, the easy road I won't take the easy road The easy road, the easy road

Last night I was enchanted by this song when I was watching the tv, a commercial by Renault. It was just 30 seconds! I had to search for it immediately and I discovered First Aid Kit. For me, the discovery of the year! Wonderful voices and instruments, great songs, pure atmospheres... I´ve fallen in love with them. Emmylou, The Lion´s Roar... They are treasures. We need more of this and less shit in our European theatres and arenas... Saludos desde España.

I didnt know my father very well for most of my life. But he reconnected with me about 6 years ago. We came to find we were very similar in our hobbies, mannerisms and most importantly music. I introduced him to First Aid Kit and it was the first music I introduced him to that he just loved. He was killed in a head on collision on his motorcycle with his girlfriend 3 years ago this day. I chose this song at his funeral because it was how he lived his life. After the funeral I bought the album on LP, I haven't ever played it. I come here and listen to this song every year. I smile and I cry. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart Klara and Johanna.

This is every person's song. As a 65 year old man, I worked 48 years to get to see the silver lining. It didn't just happen and it certainly didn't by following the easy road. It's cool watching my kids make their way on that road now....I hope they find it as well.

In an interview they said that this was their favourite track, I can understand their liking for it as when you follow the words a picture starts to form, it's better if you close your eyes. there are not that many songs that can take you where this song does in your mind. both the lyrics and instrumentation are haunting to say the least and thats what drew me to it in the Amex card ad. I listened to the music and wanted more than just 30 seconds of it.

I don't want to wait anymore I'm tired of looking for answers Take me some place where there's music and there's laughter I don't know if I'm scared of dying but I'm scared of living too fast, too slow Regret, remorse, hold on, oh no I've got to go There’s no starting over, no new beginnings, time races on And you've just gotta keep on keeping on Gotta keep on going, looking straight out on the road Can't worry 'bout what's behind you or what's coming for you further up the road I try not to hold on to what is gone, I try to do right what is wrong I try to keep on keeping on Yeah I just keep on keeping on I hear a voice calling Calling out for me These shackles I've made in an attempt to be free Be it for reason, be it for love I won't take the easy road I've woken up in a hotel room, my worries as big as the moon Having no idea who or what or where I am Something good comes with the bad A song's never just sad There's hope, there's a silver lining Show me my silver lining Show me my silver lining I hear a voice calling Calling out for me These shackles I've made in an attempt to be free Be it for reason, be it for love I won't take the easy road I won't take the easy road The easy road, the easy road I won't take the easy road The easy road, the easy road Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on

Obviously it will play a role in BL3, but that's more along the lines of stuff like Helios and Scooter, we don't know if the characters will appear or not. Telltale did say that Gearbox has the right to use their characters if they want to, and that there have been some hints that Telltale wants to do a Season 2, but it's also up to Gearbox.

I mostly listen to extreme metal and usually wouldn't listen to something like this, but I'm becoming more open minded. I've realised that the genre doesn't really matter so much: it's about how music makes you feel and whether you can connect with it. There is so much trash music out there, and so little that is genuine, from the heart. This almost brought me to tears. It feels very real and I can relate to the lyrics. Are First Aid Kit considered mainstream? Are they popular?
