Hello I have a problem with having consistent quiet times,I have actually read some books on how to have effective quiet time I can have a effective quiet in three days in a roll then stop at some point Sometimes I don't feel like having it How then can I have consistent quiet times?

These are my questions: Is there a point in your christian life where you can ever become unfit for ministry? How can I become more spiritual as I age? As someone who grew up in church, I have seen that I was full of faith when I was much younger and I am concerned. Im only in my mid 20s and I dont want to continue on this road. As a shepherd in church, there are times I feel inadequate when it comes to counselling. I dont want to be a bad shepherd or be the cause of someone receiving inadequate scriptures or perpetuate an inadequate view of God. Would you recommend maybe taking a breaking from shepherding to grow more spiritually? Lastly please, is there ever a point where the Holy Spirit just decides that he will step away from you and not cone back? Maybe repeated falling into sin, intentionally sinning, being continuously disobedient?

an easy answer to your 3rd question about taking a break from shepherd is that you just need to grow your relationship with the Holy Spirit i.e. quiet time, prayer, study the word and meditate on it. When you do this you become like a 'well of answers' to people because of the power of the holy spirit working in you. Matthew 10:19 says: "...do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour" but what you are to say only comes if you have knowledge of the word of God and relationship with him Hope this helps because taking a break is just an easy way out. As Christians we're called to fight the good fight of faith not give in when things get hard
