Why does India refuse to sell alot of their firearms to the civilian market in the us ? Even a lot of anti gun countries sell to the American markets. It would be a great way for India to boost its exports and relations with the us .The Indian Insas rifle is one of the few rifles in the world that can’t be found in the us because the Indian government refuses to export them to the civilian market .

You think they would purchase something like INSAS over their AR guns. AR is very popular in America both in civilians and military as well, INSAS doesn't provide accuracy and it tend to harm one who's holding bcoz of recoil, it can't compete AR, AK rifle, if we use outdated guns like INSAS we are done in WW3. India needs its domestic best rifle and needs to provide finest military equipment to soldiers amid dengerous growth of china.

Indian military needs more submarines , Government should now look at strategically divesting some stake in HAL, Mazgaon Dockyard and Cochin shipyard whose share prices have increased and use the divested money to order more submarines, naval assets and aircrafts .
