But today, South Africa has the worst unemployment rate in the world and crime is on the rise. I was born Indian citizen in Ethiopia in 1967, raised in Zambia and when my folks moved to S Africa in 1982, I went to Kerala to do my pre university - 11th / 12th and 1st degree in Karnataka. Back here to South Africa and here since 1990 and citizen. Few things - life for Indians is better here since 1994. Also for Africans here and in the rest of the continent. There is an over emphasis on for e.g Zimbabwe as black failure, but that country's failure has more to do with western sanctions and nobody talks about it. That fear mongering is affecting media sentiment towards South Africa - west promotes such. Yes the govt is corrupt. Tell me which govt is not. Yes, the leaders in the ANC are self serving but their policies are fair. The ANC is good re policies- the leaders, not as good. Should we throw the baby out with the bath water? I have travelled to over 30 countries in Africa, Asia, UK & Europe, US and Brazil. There is no place like South Africa. Best people, weather..everything! Yes crime is bad, abd has always been - almost as bad as south side of Chicago. Remember there was no free press before 1994. Black (including Indian) deaths did not matter. Stability in govt - hopefully we dont go as bad as the UK with the swinging door at 10 Downing and lied to Brexit. Apart from India and many asian countries, all countries at best have maintained. Glad for Cyril.. Question, why do news outlets always go back to the apartheid. When last have you been to South-Africa. Whites need medical aid for assistance in hospitals, otherwise almost no help.. Orange and red waits up to 2 hours before they receive assistance. For a white man to get a response from the state, you need to send a 100 emails, some of us wrote so much emails, that the state needs to give us a doctored in state business or the subject matter. More people die in a year in South-Africa, towards the whole period apartheid. Farmers gave food, milk and wine to the people during apartheid. Today it's impossible with the growth of this country. And farmers prices was cut over the years. In 1984 and 1985 the world sanctioned South-Africa, causing mayor financial difficulties.. 1966 and prior , we where on-top. This whole election showed back 30 years to a certain date 1994. But what happen from 2005 until 2017? To date, more farmers has been murdered than black people in apartheid. More people has been killed in trans-heist than in apartheid. Living standards and money was worth more in those days than to day.. Two years and the House was paid off. 3 months salary and you buy a car cash.. Don't forget the terrible bomb attacks on public spaces.. Was ugly and South-Africa needs to forget. Why use it for your news station? Its like election rigging with old philosophy or stories to remind people of a white man in power would be, or woman. We aren't the same anymore, South-Africa learned it from England and America at that time. New generations...

KwaZulu-Natal as per leaked physical IEC staff counters role is officially in MK Party's pocket. So yes ANC is the biggest loser these elections but they still have the highest votes for a single party in this country and will probably be at 30-40% in these elections due to a strong voters count in Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga
