From a geopolitical standpoint, India is one of the hardest countries to defend militarily. Himalayas are the only thing we have in our favor. We are surrounded by hostile countries as well as smaller countries that don't mind becoming our enemy as well as some of the world's most powerful countries being against India's development from the start. We also have a very long and triangular coast line that makes things really hard for the Indian navy to co-ordinate. Any leader who can successfully defend India against a Chinese invasion against all these odds can certainly do even better if they are put in the same position of most other countries.

It would be in the best Interest of the United States to closen ties with India considering China. Though the self serving Global Elites and Corperate Elites have controll over our Government. It is hard to decide where we stand with India some time. There friends with Russia yet At odds with China and unsure where they are on Iran. I would hope friendly with Israel. EU is not been easily to determine as well. We NATO but that does not mean for much anymore. Though I would lean towards India over China any day.

@@fanch1072 I disagree. Australia, Japan, South Korea and I believe Taiwan have agreements for aid and help already. That's the bottom purpose of alliances, to support each other. India could benefit from joining some regional alliance. Still, China seems to be trying to isolate India. Or at least surrounding India. I know India has been very careful to not make any alliances that could upset China. But China doesn't seem to care what India is thinking. If India gets isolated I'm certain that China will give them an offer they can't reject

😴Go and look at India's trade with China before commenting rubbish , India depends on Chinese imports to boost its mfg sector and to make PLI scheme a success , India doesn't even recognise QUAD as a military/security alliance , btw look at what happened in Ukraine , Ukraine were forced into conflict by US by giving them false assurances of NATO protection , remember West doesn't share borders with us , West will not send troops to India in case of any conflict , it will only sell its weapons and ensure conflict is kept prolonged to boost their defence sector which thrives on conflicts across the Globe , US doesn't give anything for free

Probably because China is not a warring country. They built a wall to keep warriors out. It has the same leadership for decades. China plans for the century while the West plans for the next 3 months. US/EU/UK rely on sanctions to force countries to obey, while China improves itself to overcome actions against them. While the West thinks it is their right to criticize anything China does, China minds its own business and carries on to achieve their preplanned objectives. While US needs an explosion to eliminate EU competition, China improves its products and expands its trading partners. I think that might be while China never goes down.
