Ethiopia barely utilizes port Berbera in Somaliland, so what is the point of allowing Ethiopia to have a naval base in Somaliland. Ethiopia WILL NEVER leave. So, don’t invite trouble in the first place. Ethiopia made it very clearly that its natural borders extend to the Red Sea. The Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, stated clearly that they will reach the Red Sea peacefully or forcefully.

The solution is to calm down and talk.. And be reminded the secret services of those colonialists are everywhere. Never despair, never give up.. Keep talkıing Every dispute can be solved when you have good intentions. I sincerely hope that India-Pakistan problems can also be solved one day. There are both good decent people generally ...

Here we go again, another form of colonization is unfolding. Ethiopia has been attempting to dominate Somalia and Somaliland since the late '90s, but their efforts have largely failed. Ethiopian soldiers are now present in many regions of southern Somalia, and if they gain access to the sea, it could be disastrous. Somalia risks becoming the "Palestine of Africa," with no one stepping in to help. It’s puzzling why Somali leaders are allowing this to happen-they seem either clueless or incapable of addressing the situation.

The beginning of this year Ethopia made a mistake by violating our sovereignty and territorial integrity. It looks like now they had realized their mistake and want to correct it so we are happy with that, therefore, we don’t mind giving them acces to our sea as long as they do it in respectful and legal way.

If you following the story about how the conflict started, Ethopia tried to take part of our sea illegally and forcefully by striking illegal deal with a breakaway region called (Somaliland) that doesn’t have a legitimacy. Somali government was furies about this and this could have led into war between the two countries which is no intrest for anyone. I am glad that Ethopia now is backtracked from the illegal deal and trying to do things in correct way. The comment quickly spread across social media, igniting protests and escalating tensions, particularly in the predominantly Muslim community of Dowarabazar, about 270km (168 miles) from the national capital Dhaka Krishna was at home when the first signs of chaos reached his doorstep in Monglargaon village about 8pm. “I heard shouting coming from the market,” Krishna recalled. “I couldn’t understand what was happening, but I could feel something was wrong.” Stepping outside, he saw people gathering in the streets, chanting slogans. Soon, the crowd grew into a mob, waving sticks and batons. “I rushed inside, locked the doors, and tried to hide,” he said. “But they broke in anyway The violence spread quickly, even though Akash Das, the 17-year-old Hindu man from his neighbourhood, had already been arrested by the police under the “cyber security act” before the mob descended on Monglargaon “They destroyed everything everything I had worked for ( part of a sad story with thanks to Mehedi Hasan Marof/Al Jazeera ) world chess champion D Gukesh’s 🏆 Congratulations India

So what? Their leaders should have vision of socio-economic programs of how to fix the basic needs of citizens , including to legally use and find and negotiate an efficient sea outlet from neighboring countries that gives an amicable bargain cost for the service. They shouldn't expect free access or try to claim illegally and force anyone to give free sea ports, lands and other resources.
