Saudi Arabia has issued a warning to Pakistan over the presence of Pakistani beggars in the Kingdom. Riyadh has threatened to restrict the issuance of pilgrimage visas to Pakistani people. Some Pakistani people use pilgrimage visas to enter Saudi Arabia and beg for alms. About 90% of the beggars arrested in West Asian nations reportedly come from Pakistan. Islamabad is now in damage control mode to ensure than Riyadh doesn't act on its threat.
