Excellent callout by India! I applaud this lady. It's absolutely ridiculous that year after year the developed countries fail to fulfil their climate finance commitments but yet its business as usual while they play ostrich. After all the rhetorics by the president and the developed countries, the poorer (developing) nations still continue to suffer from the effects of climate change. The developed countries say they care but clearly they don't because if they did they will own up to their contributions to global ghg emissions and put their money where their mouths are rather than give false hope and empty promises! These financial promises now need laws in place to ensure countries pay up or face heavy sanctions in my opinion! This situation is grossly unethical and selfish in my eyes. Climate injustice is alive and kicking!
