The diplomatic ties between India and Canada continue to deteriorate. In the latest move to counter Canada's repeated provocations, India has recalled six of its diplomats from Canada and has also expelled six Canadian diplomats posted in India. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a statement last night, making the situation even worse. In his address, Trudeau accused Indian diplomats of engaging in "criminal activities". Canada's foreign minister even talked about imposing "economic sanctions" on India. Trudeau is receiving political support from all sides to back his "anti-India" rhetoric. New Delhi responded to Trudeau's remarks, terming his allegations as "vague" and "preposterous imputations". Canadian PM Trudeau has been attacking India over the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was murdered in Canada last year. The Trudeau government says it has evidence against the Indian diplomats "involved in Nijjar's murder". On Vantage tonight, Palki Sharma tells you more.
