When I was a pre-teen boy in the early 1970’s my father made me listen to a weekly radio show called “Letter from America” in a time when South Africa was deep in the Apartheid era. Here at the southern tip of Africa he was eager for me to learn the meaning of propaganda which at the time went straight over my head even as the white nationalist government controlled every word we read in the media at the time. The entire country’s population (both black and white) was orchestrated and choreographed through the use of radio and newspapers in an age before television. Those memories are being brought back to life right now as I see the American population and to an exponentially greater degree the citizens of Isreal mindlessly dance and sing to their master’s voice. Well I'm a Nigerian American, grew up in Nigeria and came to the USA over 30 years ago. I've visited several countries. My experiences and also reputable data show that the USA is the best country for Blacks or Negroes in the world. No one can name one single country where Blacks live better by ANY measure. Each conflict has to be viewed in its own merits. We cannot play copy and paste with politics and people's lives. Just because we have a particular stands in one conflict does not mean we need to have the same stance on the other when the cause and foundation of the conflicts are different. In the issue of Ukraine we all know that it is a proxy war by the west on Russia, on the issue of Palestine it is a colonial and G-word practice. On the issue of Palestine we've made it clear that we stand with Palestine not neutral as in the war of Russia and Ukraine. So our positioning will be different comparably different as other conflicts around the world like the Sudan conflict the DRC conflict ect. There are no complaints in different deployment and stants in our foreign policy in other conflicts but there's always a comparison between the Gaza conflict and the Ukraine conflict. 🌍Learn to separate the two by viewing what the two conflicts are.
